I've always preffered rubber hoods over metal they collapse, fairly light weight (a big factor for me as I do alot of nature photos) Well worth the money

External and internal threads make it easy to use filter and lens cap with hood on camera

These hoods are much more conventient than the fixed hoods. They are cheap, work well but do have to be replaced eventually. I take a lot of pictures and each one lasts several years.

The rubber is a good idea but does not hold up. Fell apart within three months of very light use. Keenly disappointed. Hope Adorama will stand behind this product. Hoping.
