Ok, here's the thing... It works but you have to install the heater packs (sold separately) an hour before you go into sever cold conditions. The packs install into a line of 4 pockets. I wish there were 1 or 2 more pockets and they were placed in more random locations. They are all in a line. Generally, the temp inside the camera duck was enough to keep my camera from freezing (it was 19F, blizzard conditions). Don't expect to change lenses often. This is not a fix for that. It protects your gear, allows you to shoot, but its not magic - its prudent. I am very happy with this item. My camera is too expensive to risk damage.

On my recent shoot this saved my camera and my right hand which I use without a glove so that I can operate the camera.
