Comments about Op/Tech Op/Tech SLR Wrist Strap, 11" Long, Black:

I have 2 of these straps, one for my Pentax K100D and the other for my Pentax K200D. As a female photographer, I detest neck straps and was looking for a strong but comfortable wrist strap. This fits the bill perfectly. In the summer, on long outings, the strap gets a bit hot around the wrist but the same would be true of a neck strap. I can't imagine having a dslr without one of these. It is a small thing but it makes a big difference.

It gets a little hot on the wrist and the fastex buckle is right where you grip when sliding the adjusting tightener. As long as you're careful when you're adjusting it it is an excellent wrist strap.

I bought one for a panasonic GF1, it is the perfect match! I have always disliked using neck/shoulder straps. I enjoyed this strap so much on a recent trip that I bought 2 more, for my pentax K-x and K20d. I have a dovetail plate on my k20d, which has strap lugs that I attach this to on the right hand, and on the left side the regular strap is attached (but rarely used). The bonus to buying one for every camera is that you have additional straps, one of which makes a great safety strap while your camera is attached to a tripod. Great product[...]

Comments about Op/Tech Op/Tech SLR Wrist Strap, 11" Long, Black:

This is a comfortable strap for folks who prefer to hand-hold their camera. It's plenty big for huge hands, strong enough to catch even heavy SLRs if they slip out of your hand (don't hang the camera by the strap, though -- you can pull out the lug; hold it in your hand and rely on the strap as a life preserver if you drop it), easy to attach and remove, and inexpensive. If you use Op/Tech straps, chances are the strap will use the same clips, handy if sometimes you like the camera hanging around your neck.

I use this strap on both film and digital SLRs, up to Nikon D200 and Canon T90. It works great, keeping in mind the warning above. I have no complaints at all, and will probably buy a couple more.

Comments about Op/Tech Op/Tech SLR Wrist Strap, 11" Long, Black:

These straps are the real deal. Providing security and flexibility with the ability to change position easily without encumbrance. Back of the hand straps, tho' offering a seeming security in grasping the camera are motion limiting. As for neck straps, I find them annoying and even hazardous when in the field. They are best left for street traffic.

What a wrist strap should be...

Comments about Op/Tech Op/Tech SLR Wrist Strap, 11" Long, Black:

Nothing hurts more than having a camera hit the ground, but there are times when a neck-strap can prevent you from getting the hand-held shot you want: Op/Tech's wrist strap fills the gap nicely.

It's built from rugged materials, but features Op/Tech's always-comfortable foam-backed strapping; the strap itself is long enough to fit around my enormous wrist, but has enough tack to hold securely on smaller wrists as well.

Comments about Op/Tech Op/Tech SLR Wrist Strap, 11" Long, Black:

This is a great security item for a P&S. Use it on Canon P10. Would not be as functional on a larger camera. Neck strap on a P&S is a nuisance. This is less obtrusive and easily secures the camera against unexpected jostles that could cause it to fall.
