I bought the Coby Kyros MID7024 last March from Adorama [...] and I am very impressed and happy with the quality and advanced technology of this affordable tablet. It is fast, responsive, and offers the possibility of installing a lot of applications, including YouTube (Adobe Flash), Pandora, lots of games, calendar, agenda, alarm, weather, E-mail (Yahoo, Hotmail, Gmail, MSN, Yahoo Messanger), Google Voice, Google Maps, and much more. It also has camera and microfone. There is no Android Market but most of the top android applications can be easily downloaded from other markets. Congratulations to Coby for making excellent technology affordable to all.

It would be a very nice tablet if it worked. It powered very fast, it had nice bright screen and it was a real pleasure to surf the Web and watch video on it. I got it on Thursday evening, powered it several times to calibrate the screen, to download Alarm, Weather, Yahoo, Notes, FBReader and a couple of books from Aplibs (similar to Android Market, but with much less choices). Everything worked like a charm and I was just falling in love with that little device. Last time I powered it, I read some news on Yahoo and then put it to sleep. When in a couple of hours I decided to wake it, it was completely dead and unresponsive. The end of story. I am returning it and have not made my mind if to ask for refund or replace it with 1st generation of Coby. Maybe,the bugs were fixed on the older version and I will be able to play with it longer than two days.[...]
