I purchased this card from Adorama and I am quite satisfied with it. What else is there to say? It does what it is supposed to do, and well. Best aspect of it? Price.

Comments about Kingston Technology Kingston Technology 8 GB Class 4 Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC) Memory Card.:

I bought this SDHC card for my canon t1i. It arrives on time and works perfectly with my camera.

I have got a canon hf s10 for video, so I don't expect too much from my t1i, so I don't have to buy a class 6 card. This class 4 card works very well with my camera and I didn't notice obvious delays when shooting. For video, I just took a video for about one minute, so I don't know its performance in video.

So, if you use canon t1i mainly for its still images, this card is a good choice.

Comments about Kingston Technology Kingston Technology 8 GB Class 4 Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC) Memory Card.:

I've always been a Sandisk card user, but I figured I would try the Kingston card given it's low price and moderately rated speed. So far I have shot thousands of images with my T1i using the card and have been very impressed with the speed of the card. In continuous shooting it doesn't "choke" and I have had absolutely no issues with compatibility.I highly recommend this card if you feel other brands are just too expensive!

Comments about Kingston Technology Kingston Technology 8 GB Class 4 Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC) Memory Card.:

This card came bundled with a new camera. I had already bought an 8Gb Class 6 card so this one is smaller and slower than the one I intend to use on a day-to-day basis. However, it will be useful to me as a second card to use in a pinch.

Comments about Kingston Technology Kingston Technology 8 GB Class 4 Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC) Memory Card.:

The read/write speed of the card varies, depending on where the card is manufactured. I have two of this card and obtained both of them from Adorama (separate orders but within 10 days or so). The first card is made in Japan; it's fast (not the fastest but very acceptable). After I tested this first card, I place another order for a second one, but this time, I received a card that is made in Taiwan. This second card is much slower than the Japanese-made one. The two cards are identical in all aspect (of course, except the serial number and the made in XXX label). So be careful when you read the review because the speed of the card definitely depends on the batch. I am using a Canon Ti1.

I bought this for a dSLR and although I haven't used it long, it works great. 8gig is more than enough for me and the transfer speeds are great. I have used other Kingston memory products for awhile now with absolutely no problems. 4 stars because nothing is perfect...but I can't really give it any cons.

Comments about Kingston Technology Kingston Technology 8 GB Class 4 Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC) Memory Card.:

I bought a new Canon digital Rebel T1i, which takes SD or SDHC cards. Class 6 is recommended for video, but I have been using these Kingston class 4 SDHC cards without any problems. All videos come out crisp and vivid in both resolution settings, and the cards work perfect for still shots. There are times when it takes the camera a moment or three to commit something to the card, but that is to be expected when snapping alot of high resolution shots or recording video. Overall I am very pleased and plan to buy another one of the cards while the price is so good. It's hard to beat a high quality brand name SDHC card for [$]

Great true class 4 speed, easily exceeding the supposed "high speed" sd card that came packaged with my Canon. As an added bonus, this item is made in Japan, which may auger well for its long term reliability. Thanks adorama.

This is the best price I have seen for an 8 GB class 4 memory card. I have shoped on line and in stores and nothing has come close to this price. I purchased a camara and it came with another brand card, I then purchased a Kingstone card with the same memory capacity and I get more pictures with the Kingston than with the other brand. I am an Kingston fan for live, now!

Comments about Kingston Technology Kingston Technology 8 GB Class 4 Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC) Memory Card.:

My wife and I used this card mainly for video capture and an occasional wide angle pic or two with a Canon SD 800 IS while on a Great White Shark Dive and Safari in Southern Africa. The card performed flawlessly while in somewhat harsh environments. We took video while in an underwater housing for the great white shark dive in 12 deg C H2O (over an hour in the water) as well as other video in the Victoria Falls, Chobe and Okavanago Delta areas. It worked through rainy and humid conditions giving way to searing sunlight with ultra humidity. Worked everytime and I would recommend this card to anyone looking for increased size, speed and reliability.
