A good value. Does it's job so far. I have had problems with Manfrotto products in the past, but this appears to be what I need in a lightstand and I will get a few more when I have a chance.

A great portable stand for a small to medium monolight or speedlight from a reliable and well known name in the photo/video industry. Very great value for the hobbyist like me who is beginning to learn off camera flash.

I was anticipating getting a barely adequate product at this price. Instead, when I unpacked and set up the lightstand, I was very pleasantly surprised to find a substantial and sturdy piece of equipment. I will definitely be ordering another.
Adorama comes through again.

I use these to hold the Nikon SB-800 flash via a Bogen 175f clamp with or without an umbrella. They do a great job for what I do. They are very light and quickly setup. I would recommend a sandbag for the base if you plan on using them outdoors. Another solid product from Bogen-Manfrotto!

I use these stands with my Alien Bees in my studio. They are very sturdy and built well. For travel lightstands I use the 6' versions (#3330) ,they are lighter and fold smaller but just as sturdy! Go for it!
