Comments about Flashpoint Flashpoint Octa 55 Soft Box, 22" with socket:
I like round highlights especially for portraits and the Octa 55 Soft Box is perfect. The price is incredible. It makes an ideal fill light due to it small size as compared to most umbrellas. You can get it close to the camera where a fill generally belongs.
Setup is easy, it opens like an umbrella then screw in the bulb and attach the diffuser (velcro) and you are ready to go.
Not a powerful light but it runs cool is not dazzling and is a great find.

Setting up my Studio on a budget and picked up this unit to use as a hair light. Easy to set up. Nice lighting. light weight. Only thing is the switch is about a foot from the softbox and when I have it on a up on a boom I have to lower the boom to turn on and off the unit at the switch. I guess if your not on a boom, then placement would be fine.
