Comments about Flashpoint Flashpoint Quick Flip Flash Bracket for 35mm & Digital SLR Cameras:
This product is too floppy to use for weddings and general use. The arm that holds the flash moves tooeasily and flops around.
Comments about Flashpoint Flashpoint Quick Flip Flash Bracket for 35mm & Digital SLR Cameras:
Makes the use of the flash much easier when you change from Landscape to Portrait, and keeping the flash unit where you want it.

Comments about Flashpoint Flashpoint Quick Flip Flash Bracket for 35mm & Digital SLR Cameras:
This is a very useful product at a good price. Be aware that the thumbscrew consists of a tiny metal nut with a cheap plastic surround. The plastic snapped off the first time I used it. It would have been better to provide a larger metal nut. Other than that minor gripe, I have been more than pleased.

Comments about Flashpoint Flashpoint Quick Flip Flash Bracket for 35mm & Digital SLR Cameras:
It was too flimsy to risk using. The "grip" was some black foam that felt it it came from a $29.95 tricycle. It felt like it was as well designed and built as you could get for 99 cents.

Comments about Flashpoint Flashpoint Quick Flip Flash Bracket for 35mm & Digital SLR Cameras:
This came as a set and there was no way to attach the flash cord to the bracket, so I had to go out and purchase another screw. Since this came as a full kit, I expected it to be plug and play. The design is a little flimsy and the flash tends to swing around a lot. But, it's a good option for those on a budget.
Comments about Flashpoint Flashpoint Quick Flip Flash Bracket for 35mm & Digital SLR Cameras:
The bracket seems very versatile and is light weight. The hot shoe clamp could be designed a little better though. The Clamp works OK, but the one side of the clamp that tightens down on the shoe of the light is a "V" and when tightened seems to make the light slightly tilted. Really not a big deal.

Knob to tighten screw broke with very first turn. Very frustrating. Also, no instructions.

Comments about Flashpoint Flashpoint Quick Flip Flash Bracket for 35mm & Digital SLR Cameras:
Tried the bracket on the camera after I received it. The knob cracked and broke off as I mounted it on the camera. Otherwise it appears to function well.

Comments about Flashpoint Flashpoint Quick Flip Flash Bracket for 35mm & Digital SLR Cameras:
The wingnut-like fastener on the bottom (that links the bracket to the tripod socket on the camera) broke very quickly, leaving the small-diameter knurled knob. Strengthen the wingnut thing or lose it.
Comments about Flashpoint Flashpoint Quick Flip Flash Bracket for 35mm & Digital SLR Cameras:
Product is sturrdy and does what it's supposed to do. Get the flash up off the camera.

I've been using this with my Nikon D300 and a Nikon SB800 flash. So far it's been a great attachment to have with me. It's solidly built and flexible with the ability to flip easily between portrait and landscape orientation. It works as advertised.
