Comments about Manfrotto by Bogen Imaging Bogen - Manfrotto 3 Piece Boom Assembly (Black Anodized) w/10 lb. Counterweight, 6'8" Long (#3385):
The boom certainly works, but setting it up and taking it down could be a little easier. The mechanism connecting the three sections is reliable, it's just not quick.

Comments about Manfrotto by Bogen Imaging Bogen - Manfrotto 3 Piece Boom Assembly (Black Anodized) w/10 lb. Counterweight, 6'8" Long (#3385):
The grip at the end of the boom opposite the light allows the boom to be rotated with precision. The boom is easy to disassemble for transport and then assemble for use. The middle section can be removed if working in a tight space.
