Comments about Adorama Adorama 12" x 12" Softbox for the 100 watt Second Budget Monolight.:

I just recieved this yesterday and tried to assemble it in the late afternoon. Without any directions included, I found it very hard to assemble. I tried a bunch of options (learned a few more swear words) and finally got it to a point where I think it's correcly assembled.

I still have a small patch of cloth that I have yet to find a use for. Can someone enlighten me?

Comments about Adorama Adorama 12" x 12" Softbox for the 100 watt Second Budget Monolight.:

I read the reviews for the 18" softbox. I apologize for thinking my assembling skills were superior to theirs. My wife and I got a good workout getting this thing put together. Lots of profanity. No instructions and you feel like the rods are going to snap. Once you're past that, never disassemble it, ever! I use this with the budget monolight. For the price, it works great.

Comments about Adorama Adorama 12" x 12" Softbox for the 100 watt Second Budget Monolight.:

I'm currently using these softboxes with the budget flash, and I'm very happy so far. These are kind of small, so they don't spread light as much as you would want all the time, but they do the job!

Right now, I'm using them for food photography on a cookbook, and I'll be using them for night time shooting to soften the light around models.
