nice size for working alone and the price is right compared to some of the Trigrip reflectors that do exactly the same thing!! They all reflect light!! no reason for some of the pricing to be outrageous for reflectors!

This is my first reflector and I am pleased with it. It is easy to change the covers to get the alternate colors - main part is a semi transulcent white. Closes nicely and travels well in a smaller bag.

Just a note - this one is bigger than you think. Open with caution! I bonked myself right in the forehead!

Works well as a diffuser and a reflector. Somewhat hard to handle outdoors if it is really windy.

It works great. Easy opens and folds. If you don't know how to fold, check some YouTube videos. The zipper does get caught with cloth sometimes at first, but you will know how to avoid it with a little practice. I wish the case could have more room, because you have to take the colored cloth out of the disk fold it and put it with folded disk in the case separately, otherwise it won't fit. For me, silver and white are used more frequently, if it can be kept on the disk and fold together, it would save lot of zipper work.

I do like this reflector, good value for the money. Takes a while to figure out how to fold it back properly. The only problem i have with it is the dark gold side that is show in the photo is nothing like shown. My "gold" side is white with gold zig-zags down it-nothing like the photo. [...]

So many diffusers are too small to be very useful. This one is the perfect size for wildflower photography at a great price too. I haven't used the reflectors yet but plan on using them for High School Seniors' head shots. It's sometimes a wrestling match to get the diffuser collapsed and back into the bag...but worth the effort.

I use this product mostly during engagement shoots. It's great because I don't have to worry about carrying a bunch of extra equipment. I read reviews on this product before I purchased, some people complaining about the quality of the zipper. Mine is in great shape and haven't had any problems yet.

This is an excellent set of reflector's for the money. Can be used indoors for bounce photography or outside to bounce available light or soften the effects of the sun on your subject. Yes, if you are in the market for this type of product then I would highly recommend it.

The 5 in 1 Reflector once you open the package and take it out (carefully) is useful for adding "light" to your subject. I am taking a class that requires the use of reflectors and this one was recommended by the instructor. I will have to learn how to put it back in its case.

This is a great product to consider if you are on a budget, but want the same results as the name brand products. Seems to be built sturdy enough. Can not see paying double for the same product, just because of the name. I will not be using this all the time, so constant wear and tear with the product and how it holds up, will have to wait and see. I am impressed with the build quality and hope that I will continue to be impressed as I use it. Only con: need instructions for folding, can figure it out, but would be nice to have

This is a very nice product that does just what it is made for. Unfortunately, I cannot master the refolding process.It is quite difficult and could use a re-design to somehow make it easier to fold.

I use it to balance light for interior portraiture. It works well for a minimal cost, which is always a good thing. You can't beat the cost.

I found the Flashpoint 42 gives me options with the 5 in 1,
Found it very manageable in high wind unlike a larger one I used in Santa Fe NM at a workshop.

Works great, folds easy, there is some slight discoloration on the white, this is the second one that has done that to me, but it does not effect the light

I put this on the lap or on the ground in front of face shots with either reflecting surface up or with Black if I want higher contrast shadows. The translucent cover is good for toning down sun spots and streaks on clothes or skin. It is best to have an assistant when using this as a distant reflector or sun screen.

Can be used as a reflector, difuser, or a shade. The 42" is large when openned up but collapses down to 14" which makes it easy to cart around. The trick to folding it is apply 2 simultaneous twists so that it folds down into itself.

Good reflector set. ( So far so good,, Great buy for the $$)

One thing, when you get it out of it's carry bag, keep a hold of it, and take a GOOD look at how its folded up. There is a trick to folding it back into its bag! ( If you get stuck,just Youtube 'reflector folding', and you'll see how to fold it back down!

You can't make it yourself for this kind of price!
( Materials, yes, but construction time and all that,,woooee..less you got the time.. I don't )

One last thing, no handles, so if you are shooting without a assistant, get yourself a clamp set up on a extra light stand, ect. cause this one's a wee bit big to hold single handed...and its a sail in the wind, so sandbag your light stand clamp holder!

A common complaint for cheaper reflectors is that the zippers snag, but I haven't encountered that problem. It seems durable enough, but I haven't really put it through the ringer yet.

The only complaint I have is that it's hard to put back into the case when you have the the reflector slip attached.
