I use it for video and photography,It adds stability to a small camcorders and allow you to use a camcorder 60" above your head.
The supplied bag is too short for the monopod with the attached Manfrotto 234RC head.

I'll carry a 400mm 2.8 AF-I (HEAVY) with body for 5 & 6 hours at a time. It has not let me down yet.
