After trying all the inexpensive light weight tripods every one thought I should have. I finally decided the heck with it and decided to end it foreevr. Now I will never have to buy another tripod. YEA!!!

Hey, its a Gitzo & it costs a bunch, you expect it to be the best. And it lives up to its reputation. Very light weight & sturdy. But the best thing about it is the ease of set up & the minimum effort that the leg locks take to looseN & tighten.

I use it with a D300 w/ grip & 400mm f2.8 lens. No problem at all.
