This tripod does more than the more expensive models. Very well constructed. Very stable. Was very much worth the cost

The center post locks in multiple positions, no slipage. It has good reach, this alows getting the lens close to the subject in awkward areas. It comes with out a head and the salesman SHOULD have mentioned it
