The product was easy to assemble. However, it was very difficult pushing the buttons on the camera, once diving. I was very disappointed with the clarity and visibility. I had a underwater disposable that took better photos than this. And on my last dive with it, it leaked on my D50 which thankfully survived. My suggestion is to save the money until you can buy a $1,000+ underwater case if you want to get near professional looking prints.

Instructions are vague, but common sense can prevail. Not easily accommodating to zoom lenses.

The equipment is incredibly cumbersome to assemble properly for use. It's difficult to get the camera and attached flash in or out of the case. It requires the operator to fumble with three tiny built-in screw mechanisms to close it properly. The accordion-type front section tends to get in the way of certain lenses. And worse, most of the time it is nearly impossible to press the shutter button effectively... I don't want to think of the hundreds and hundreds of photographs that I have missed because the camera would not fire regardless of how many times I tried to trip the shutter through the clumsy index finger compartment. This product has become one of my biggest disappointments, and it is one of my least favorite items, so nowadays I leave it relegated to my equipment cabinet instead of adding it to my diving bag. I wish someone had given me this information before I wasted my money on this product.

Leaked the first time I tried to use it at a depth of five feet.

This works well as long as you understand its limitations. It will keep water off your camera. It will allow you to submerge your camera for underwater photos. It will not protect your camera from underwater pressure. I use this when snorkling or when shooting surfers in the water. It seals well-I've never had it leak. It isn't a substitute for a rigid housing because the pressure that builds as you dive deeper pushes in on the bag which in turn pushes in on your camera, making it difficult to operate your buttons and other devices. It also pushes in on your lens, which makes it difficult to keep the same focal length on zoom lenses, unless your lens has internal focus. I'd recommend this for shallow water shoots and for keeping your camera dry in wet environments.
