As with many activities associated with swimming or underwater use, I would recommend that you make some practice swims with this equipment. Use patience and deliberation. Give yourself time to get used to using this equipment; that makes the learning more enjoyable.

I found my ability to pack the camera in the housing increased dramatically after just a few days of working with the equipment. No need to rush. Equipment works as described. Also, I found it helpful to preset focus above water, and then swim down to make my photos.
