AdoramaTVpresents Getting the Shot withCorey Rich.
Learning to balance two light sources is an absolute fundamental in photography. In this Tech Tip, Corey shares some fantastic tips for capturing one of the most iconic outdoor photographs there is: a lit-up tent under a starry night sky.
This episode of Getting the Shot with Corey Rich, Rich takes us to the High Sierra, where Rich chooses the perfect location, sets up his tent, mounts his Nikon D4s on a Manfrotto Tripod, and chooses a Litepanel 1×1 Bicolor Astra continuous lighting source to use inside his tent. He guides you through picking your lens, aperture and shutter speed, and provides interesting tips, such as how to diffuse your light source and why you need to use the shutter delay function on your camera. The result is a photograph that is relatively easy to make, and will inspire all your friends to join you next weekend in the great outdoors.
