In the final documentary chronicling the making of the Pilot for the Late Night Comedy Series “Late Night Cap” director Steven Pierce walks through his process on directing semi scripted video content. He speaks about, gives tips on, and illustrates the difference of directing something that is neither strictly scripted not completely improved (such as Late Night Comedy TV shows). Subjects covered include: Staging, blocking and working with actors, working with camera operators, framing and lighting scenes and when and how to push or back off to achieve the writers vision.
