Created for Mobile Gaming:
The new Switch Lite is optimized for mobile, handheld gaming — in the car, at the park, or anywhere else you’re looking for on-the-go entertainment. The Lite measures only 3.6-inches by 8.2-inches and weighs just 0.61-pounds, making it easy to carry around and even fit into some pockets. Unlike the original Nintendo Switch (which also supports TV and tabletop mode), the controls are integrated onto the device and are arranged for handheld gaming.
The battery life of the Switch Lite lasts between three to seven hours, depending on the game you’re playing. For example, Nintendo notes that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild gives approximately four hours of gaming life.
A Library of Games:
Though the Nintendo Switch Lite is dedicated to handheld gaming, users still have access to every Switch game that supports handheld mode, further expanding your options. As a bonus, Nintendo just announced the new The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, is fully compatible with the Switch Lite!
It’s Better to Play with Others:
Purchasers of the Nintendo Switch Lite also have access to Nintendo Switch Online and local wireless multiplayer for gaming with others, because Mario Kart is just much more fun with friends. Nintendo Switch Online requires a subscription, and users can play classic NES games, play against people around the world, and even chat while gaming using the Nintendo Switch Online smartphone app. Local wireless multiplayer can be seamlessly set up with any other Nintendo Switch within range for a closer competition setting.
The new Nintendo Switch Lite is now available in yellow, gray, and turquoise for at Adorama.
