I have owned Coast Flashlights for years. The small G15, G10, & G19 models work well in the same hand that I carry my Sight-Impaired ID Cane. People marvel at their bright - yet compact narrow beam. My only suggestion is to be aware that over time, the threaded aluminum case gets corroded - which makes the light flicker or even fail if left too long due to diminished conductivity. I use a tiny bit of copper anti-seize compound to prevent the issue.

bought thinking this would shine about 30 ft seeing as it's advertised to shine 65 feet! turns out it only goes about 5-8 feet before it's just in capable of lighting anything up, very disappointed :/

Best all around light you can buy.  Compact design

Being a very small flashlight, this is able to be stored just about anywhere or carried on you without burden. With its focused beam, it is perfect for lighting up only what you are tying to see and not creating any glare from other objects around you. I have several of these and did have an issue with one which was replaced under warranty due to an issue with the switch or lamp. This was a simple and straightforward process and was quickly rectified with a replacement flashlight. I was very impressed as customer service is just as important as product quality. I would definitely recommend Coast products and will continue to purchase them myself in the future.

I had the G10 and really like the blue beam. Unfortunately it begins flickering after 10+ yrs of use. They exchanged for the G19 which is a bit brighter. I really like that so I ordered two more online at two major retailers and are disappointed at the quality control. These came in blister pack instead of carton box. The beam is not tightly circular. There are brownish blemishes and dark circular marks like a gap running around the rim of the beam. It looks like the lens is dirty inside and the seal around the lens with the case is not even or completely closed. Not a deal breaker but if you order from other places, try it out in store first if possible.

Good compact search light for short distance

The coast quality reliability stand out that is why I own so many coast Lights. I would suggest that they could  Cut back on the cardboard packaging it's just too much. It is such a heavy duty well constructed box for my G19 lamp I don't want to throw it away.

Quality

Coast replaced my first light due to a faulty gasket. Process was quick and easy. Received my new light in less than a week. Very satisfied.

Bought this many years ago (10+) and it has served me well. Coast replaced it when it stopped working. I lent it to my wife, and now I need to buy another one. Highly recommended, well made flashlight.

This is a great light for doing inspections. The light is bright and very focused. The battery lasts a long time.

Great inspection light.

Recently had a 7 year old G19 flashlight fail as the battery tip would not make contact with the bottom of the LED "bulb".  Coast Quickly replaced the G19 with a new one at no cost to me.  That's unheard of service these days!

Great for a small pocket flashlight with a crisp, bright light. Pocket clip stays on & provides a sturdy retention. The best thing about these Coast lights compared to other brands is their highly focused beam, even in this smaller light.

These are small & powerful flashlights. The company stands behind their products and if there's any issues with the functionality, they replace them. This G19 I like even better than the G10. You won't be disappointed.

Really like the G19

The G19 is a great flashlight to carry in your pocket. I have been carrying one for at least ten years. The focused beam it emits is bright and the quality of the light is top notch. It takes one AAA battery. The button over the years has give up the ghost a couple times but Coast stands behind their products and has alway replaced it with no hassle. Coast is a great company and they do take care of their customers. I recommend everyone get a G19. I also have a G20  model which is also an inspection light. It takes two AAA batteries. Both of these models are excellent flashlights. You will not be disappointed with their performance ????

G19 Small But Mighty This tiny Giant does the job

Am now packing two G19s. Keep one strapped in my Mini Cooper, only size flashlight that fits in that glove box. The other is my desk\travel flashlight. It's small, metal, bright, and has a simple on/off switch. The flashlight's image is the cat's meow: it's lensed to be round with crisp edges. So cool.

My cataract surgery made it really hard to read tiny text in menus in dark restaurants.  The G19 fits comfortably in my pocket and fixes that problem.

My GP19 flashlight

I rec'd this flashlight as a warranty replacement for a g10 that had stopped working. I LIKE this flashlight better than the one it replaced. The beam is nice and concise, and very bright. It is light enough that I carry it around in the pocket of my "house shorts" so it is available to me all the time. I probably use it 10 to 15 times a day around the house.

A GREAT pocket flashlight

This is a warranty replacement for my G10. Only drawback is it doesn't have a keyring loop. The beam is more focused than the G10. Also seems brighter also. Overall a good flashlight

Good Flashlight

I love to carry this around everyday. Simple on and off switch, AAA batteries, small pocket size, no adjustable lens. Most other flashlights have too many useless features that make it cumbersome to use. I can turn this on faster and brighter than the cell phone.
