This is my go to film for nature photography. Color saturation and latitude are great. I switched to this film several years ago and have not looked back since. It keeps me shooting film in this digital age.

Most people are using digital photography. I use film for photographing through a microscope. Nothing beats film.

when I'm creating photographs for myself, I shoot velvia 100 chrome film. My subjects are flora,fauna,landscapes,sunsets/sunrises, and seascapes. I've shot this film so long I know how the colors will be rendered. It is that consistent from batch to batch, and the true iso rating is constant also, but the thing I love most about it, is it's beautifully saturated color rendition. It makes color photography an emotional experience for me! My cameras, lenses, tripod, and velvia, a winning combination!

Combines saturation and detail almost as good as Velvia 50 at twice the speed.

Velvia has been my default slide film for 12 years because of its extended color saturation that works well for my streetscapes of New Orleans. I can also take advantage of its superior resolution when I need Adobe RGB scans at 6000 d.p.i. I still shoot film because my fine art prints from scans are better than digital RAW. Plus, slides are easy to store and sort. Buy a lightbox and archive your slides with ease knowing you have original photos forever. I routinely sell my art from 40 year old slides. No digital format changes to worry about. Film is simple.

I discovered Velvia years ago and it quickly became a favorite, because it captures the full range of green found in the landscape. Red is actually a common color in the landscape underlying greens, but most films don't capture this, with the result that photos lack the depth and contrast of color found in real life. Thanks, Fuji for a fine product. Keep it up! Digital just doesn't cut it!

This film has the color saturation that makes landscape pictures pop. Excellent grain and ISO 100 mean Fujichrome Velvia 100F remains a staple in my camera bag.

Used for shots in harbor with a lot of ships and yacht. Contrast (blue&white) is good.

Superb "pop" for scenery, action, colorful subjects, but not for portraits, subtle colors. Scans exceptionally, puts digital shots with comparable equipment to shame.

Have used mostly in travel photography. The image color is superb. Can be reproduced to 20 x 30 (possibly more) with little grain, and great clarity. Love this film

I have been a long time user of Juji's Velvia RVP, especially for underwater photography but has an issue with the slower speed. I have since switched to Velia RVP 100F to give me the greater depth of field or slightly faster shutter speed. For topside travel photography, it gives the images a slightly sureal image that adds snap to presentations. I would not use it for wedding photography but in most other applications it would certainly be one of the films in my film carrier.

Fujichrome Velvia 100F retains the exciting color reproduction that Velvia 50 is known for while providing significant advance in speed, grain, versatility and color reproduction.
Experience a high level of color saturation with Velvia 100F. An ISO 100 color reversal film employing the industry's first Multi-Color-Correction Layer (MCCL) technology.
