Great value/quality for the price! I originally wanted to buy an Epson, but after carefully reading reviews on different forums I realized Optoma would be a good (even better) choice for less money. Did not regret that decision. Quality of the picture is excellent - very bright, rich colors, great contrast ratio; and the projector is very quiet - a requirement that was high on my list. Lots of configuration options and 3D support, which I desired. What I'd wish for in this projector would be to add non-manual focus, non-manual zoom control, and an automatic shutter/cover for the lens.

Excellent projector!

Went to turn on the projector with original bulb, no fan no light... The power light comes on blue for one second then goes solid red with a flashing bulb light. 
The bulb is fine and low hours. Now I am stuck with an expensive brick.

This projector is not a good one. I have had it for just over a year and it already needs $500 worth of repair.
