This sturdy and reliable tripod delivers 150mm-class performance, featuring 16 increments of adjustable and repeatable counterbalance for quick and efficient setup, typical of ENG/EFP-type use. The CNC-machined selector-dial mechanism ensures crisp, repeatable increment-selection, while the AGILE 20/20S fluid head allows operators to swiftly switch between multiple camcorder configurations of payloads ranging from 4-28kg (8.8-61.6lbs). The AGILE 20/20S also boasts a 9/9 + 0 fluid drag mechanism, which is incrementally adjustable and repeatable. This high-quality fluid drag remains consistent and does not deteriorate over time or usage, providing smooth, uniform movement. The ample fluid drag at higher increments allows experienced operators to capture full-zoom pan/tilt-intensive images that are indistinguishable from close-up shots. The AGILE 20/20S offers two industry-standard camera mounting interfaces for seamless integration with nearly any brand of camera support. The AGILE 20 with E-Z LOAD is compatible with the spring-loaded, capture-type camera mounting interface, facilitating quick setup for 'shoot & scoot' ENG-type use. The AGILE 20S with S-LOC provides a greater front-to-rear balance adjustment range to accommodate exceptionally front-heavy or back-heavy payloads. Experienced operators will appreciate the familiar ergonomics of incremental pan/tilt fluid drag and counterbalance controls, distinguishable 90-degree opposed pan and tilt brakes, replaceable pan bar rosettes for extended fluid head usability, and an illuminated bubble-level. Additional user-friendly features include spare camera plate screws, all conveniently located where experienced operators expect, eliminating the need to re-train 'muscle memory'.
