Received this headset two days ago.   Plugged in the charging base and charged the headset.   Used it all day yesterday, great sound and comfortable to wear.  Put it on the charger last night and woke up to an uncharged headset.  Disconnected the base and plugged in the charging cable directly to the headset.  It charged in a short amount of time.  Plugged it the base again and tried to charge it after a while.  No charge.  Base is dead two days into owning this headset..

Great Headset but not loking the charging base

Everybody says it’s very clear. Mute button is nice. Pairs to my pc and phone and not a lot of hassle to switch between them.

The thing i’m reviewing

Horrible connectivity and mic pick up. At my desk my dongle is 2.5' away and if I turn my head away from it the sound starts breaking up.  When connected to meetings no one can hear me due to the choppiness and distortion.  Our techs have worked with the company and their solution was to get me a wired headset they couldn't fix these.

Love the longer battery life but find the non-retractable ear buds cumbersome when only using one.

voyager 6200 works great!

I've had these for just over 1 year now.  I've owned many BT headsets, both neckband and earpieces.   I don't listen to music, I use them for youtube videos, movies, and business calls. This neckband style BT (Voyager 6200 UC) exceeded my minimum requirements for phone calls.  Very few people complained that they couldn't hear me over the last year.  There were maybe 3 occasions where I had to turn them off and use the handset.  I think that's very good, compared to other neckband style BT devices. 
      The negatives are that the dangling earbuds catch on everything from my buttons to my shirt pocket.  If I sling my backpack over my shoulder it rips the earbud geltip right off of the earbud.  The geltips are unique to this product, so you have to order the right ones to replace your lost tips.  In the year I have worn these I have gone through 10 tips.  That is about 9 more than any other neckband I have tried (but this has been the only one that dangles).  Now, today I discovered the wire is fraying where it comes out of the headset so this device is getting retired.  I'm a service technician, so I'm a little hard on these devices, this one lasted me longer than any other I've tried.  Most seem to last 3-9 months.
     I won't be buying another one.  At this price I can afford to go through 2-3 cheaper ones per year and still come out ahead. I'm also frustrated with how easily the geltips come off of the earbud speakers.  I even tried superglueing my geltips in place, but I think the superglue doesn't hold that well on the silicone tips. 
     If you happen to be a bigger person, like me, you'll find that these fit your neck pretty well.  I have a 18.5" neck and many of the cheaper neckband style devices are just too small.  If it wasn't for the dangling earbuds I would probably fork out the money for another pair of these, so if that doesn't bother you maybe these would be good for you.

Good Call Quality

I had a few requirements:
1 Quality stereo sound for music
2) Ability to use Skype/Teams for calls
3) Ability to pair with laptop and phone at same time
4) Comfortable - some of my calls are excessively long...
The 6200 UC ticks all those boxes but for me wound up going beyond. With the 6200 comes a dongle for your laptop. I used it since no pairing was needed. 
I also host a monthly webcast that has about 1000 customer attendees and the call quality was excellent and prevented external sounds getting through like keyboard clicks as I navigated my screen during the broadcast.
Unfortunately I lost the dongle and had to hold the next webcast using the 6200 paired via bluetooth. It worked and was normal acceptable quality but not the high end quality I got with the dongle. A replacement dongle is pretty pricey and for the vast majority of my day not needed, but if you do any kind of customer facing webcast type presentations it's worth it. Just don't lose it.

Finally, a top quality stereo headset

I am not at all satisfied  with this product the noise cancellation on them is not great at all.

It's ok indoors but once you go outdoors it's just hopeless it's the same or even worse than any normal headset with noise cancelling on or off it doesn't make any difference.

The exact problem is people can't hear when you are on conference call.

Excellent Sound - Working on Voice Quality

I use head sets all day long for my work and generally work long hours, I have used Sennheiser, Bose, Sony and Plantronics head phones. I must admit only Plantronics are the true business headphones with features focused mainly for business customers, I have been using voyager 500 uc on ear series  until now, though comfortable you cannot wear them them for a long time due to their on ear design. 

I still feel they have the best voice clarity due to the boom mic. But Voyager 6200 UC series is just so comforable to wear I can wear them all day long without any issues. 

ANC tech has made a huge difference in the last few years in the listening experience, Sennheiser, Bose and Sony definetly have better ANC features and the music listening experience is superior to Plantronics. 

However, Plantronics Voyager 5000/6200 UC series are just not comparable they are the best business headsets and at their price point. I am very happy with the purchase and will highly recommed them to anyone. 

I only wish if Plantonics can add a version with better ANC features on par with other brands and still retain their business focus features. I am sure their will be many customers like me who would like buy the product.

Excellent product Voyager 6200 UC

I’ve tried many different types of wireless headsets, earphones and truly wireless earbuds. I own the Bose QC 30s which are really nice, but just too uncomfortable to wear. The 6200s hit on every key detail from the comfort factor both on neck and in ear and the buttons are well located and very responsive. 

From a sound perspective, these do rank right up there with the Bose QC 30s and while noise canceling isn’t quite in line with the Bose, they’re pretty close! I’ve used once on a call and was able to hear very well and person at the other end said I sounded like I was on a land line. I travel extensively in my job (a lot of airports so am looking forward to how much easier this will be communicating on the road. 

I really think Plantronics got it right with this unit and I don’t provide reviews very often.

Excellent neckband earbuds!

It very good at first , put it not reliable it is easy to break and the MIC could go silence. And the warranty is only 90 days . Once the ninety days is over you will be on your own if thou you paid $300.

Noise canceling feature is tremendously effective. The microphone is superb, far better than any other I have experienced. The microphone expertly picks up the voice even if blaring sirens are driving by. The audio is decent as well. It is obviously not a music  headset, but doubles as an above average music headset nonetheless. I would buy this again. The only thing that I wish it had was some way to secure the headphone and cords to the headset. Like magnets or a clip that kept the wire tidy.

Excellent headset

i got these from work and use them every day. the audio quality is brilliant i never turn the ANC off.  really useful having the PLT app as the audio had been lagging recently and thought this was my ipad but was told that there was a firmware update

 on  a slight negative when on a phone call i have been told there is a lot of wind interferance.  furth the dynamic mute function i have tested this by deliberately muting whilst on the phone and talking but i am not told them i'm on mute

great audio quality

The product connects to all of my office devices and works as advertised. I have some intermittent cutting in and out with cell phone. I have called to troubleshoot and they had me disconnect device and reconnect but still experience same issue. It is not as I had hoped but the connivence  of connecting to all devices and answering when prompted out weighs the intermittent cutting out of phone.

When paired with my Google pixel 2 the earphones skip a few seconds of sound about every 3 minutes, no other Bluetooth device does this with my phone including other wireless earphones for the price I wouldn't expect such an issue. When listening to music this can be rather jarring.

Mildly infuriating

I bought those mostly to use in the office for Skype phone calls. Had to ditch them after 3 days. The microphone quality is terrible - or it is the connection? - and people on the other side of the line were just hearing a crackling robotic voice (when hearing anything). A huge disappointment for the price.

Very poor microphone quality

I have the Sport Backbeat set have been super happy with those...but this set is out-of-the-box awesome!! The sound clarity for music and calls is terrific and I can tell that the person I’m talking to on the other end can’t even tell I’m using a headset! The ANC works a treat too. Do yourself a favour; you will not be disappointed!

Comfortable and great sound!

I was really looking forward to being able to get out of my chair while in a conference.  Not with these turds.

By far, these give the best stereo audio quality on my end, but the microphone audio is absolutely the worst, most disgusting audio I've ever heard.  I've spent an hour trying to use equalizers to rescue the sound, but to no avail.  There is absolutely NO high frequency response, and very little low frequency response.  In radio, we called this a "pickle barrel" sound.

Yes, I've tried every single setting in the Hub app to get SOMETHING resembling good audio out of these, but not a chance.

Don't believe that "four microphones to get every nuance of your voice" line - unless your voice sounds like a fish.

Worst purchase ever!

I can charge this for an hour in the morning and I will have at LEAST 9 hours of use out of it before it gets tired. I have had this unit for almost a year now and it still charges fast, last all day, has great sound, and stays in my ears until I want to remove it. I just with I could buy more than 1 charging station.

Comfortable for all day use. Awesome battery!

I bought this set about a month ago and absolutely love it. Cannot tell it's around your neck at all weight wise. The audio call quality is great and the distance I can walk from my desk is far beyond what I expected. The quality also is great. Not chincy or cheap. Well built! I would definitely recommend this product to anyone and everyone. Hoping to get a few more for our office workers in the near future!

Great Unit!

A great product though but no sooner had I bought it that it developed microphone problem. I suffered same issues with the 5200  voyager too. I think Plantronics needs to make their microphone better.
However, the Bluetooth range is perfect

A very good product but microphone problem

This is a very niche headset and not one that I’ve rolled out in as much quantity as the rest of the Voyager range of headsets.  Given the ear bud design it doesn’t really allow you to use them on hotdesks!

However, if you have a customer who is often travelling then these are a great headset!  Sound quality is superb and call clarity is fantastic, even if you’re walking down a busy London Street.  The neck band is a very interesting design that I originally found a little strange.  But once I was used to the button locations it became very easy to use and answering calls while walking down the road/office was very easy. 

My only grumble is the location of the microphone, if you’re wearing heavy clothes, or walking fast so the neck band moves/bounces, it can be a little difficult for the caller to hear you.  However due to how discreet they are, say to wearing my preferred headset (the Focus 8200, this more than makes up for this little issue.

If you’re planning on rolling this headset out I would highly suggest you also purchase Plantronics Manager Pro software, or the Plantronics HUB software to open up more options on the headset and have an easy way to upgrade firmware.
If you have a customer who doesn’t like over the head style headsets, but still requires brilliant sound quality, then I can’t recommend these enough!

Great headset for someone on the move.

I've used many headsets over the years. This has ticked a lot of boxes for me.
Great battery life, decent mics, great for multimedia and PC use.
Cons are, ear gels keeps falling off. Very painful if you lose it.
noise cancelling can be improve (needs to be as good as Voyager 5200).
retractable ear speaker cords would be excellent.
overall I give it 8/10

My favourite headset so far

I have only had the chance to open the box, have a look over the product and sync it to my iPhone. It worked flawlessly and found my device very quickly. 
I downloaded the Plantronics app from iTunes and it immediately suggested to update the firmware which is great! 
However.... Unfortunately the battery needed to be fully charged before it can download the firmware (which says it improves the noise canceling feature) so I have had to put it on charge for its 1.5 hrs charging time before I can have another play ;-)
Exciting.... I am looking forward to testing the device as its the first Plantronics headset I have ever purchased and looks great quality so I doubt I will be disappointed. 
Another review coming when its fully up and running and I have tested thoroughly.

Got mine today

I first purchased Sony WI-1000X but it does not have an adequate microphone and listeners could not hear me very well.

Excellent for office - VOIP, dictations

The first headset had an issue with muffled sound from the mic and the mic would cut out in the middle of conversations.  The headset was less than 2 months old. They sent me a replacement which seemed to be working fine, but got a call, started hearing static, so switched to my iPhone to finish my call. Set the headset on the charging stand and it normally buzzes quickly to let you know it connected.  This time it just continuously buzzed. Turning the power off didn't stop it from buzzing.  Had to let it buzz until the battery fully died. Tried to charge it in the morning, and it started buzzing again.  Let the battery drain and now it won't take a charge or power on.  Oddly, it does connect to the computer, but there are no lights on the headset.  Terrible quality.  Hopefully third time is the charm, but I'm pessimistic.  These headsets seem to have serious quality issues.
