SmallRig Cage with Top Handle 2050 is designed specifically for Panasonic Lumix GH5/GH5S.SmallRig GH5 Cage with Top Handle 2050 includes Top Handle 1984 and GH5/GH5S Cage 2049. The top handle and the cage is connected via 1/4" counterbored holes, thus it offers a favourable handheld experience for cameraman. The top handle could be adjusted forwards and backwards within the range of 81mm to maintain the balance via a M5 screw spanner as per your needs during shooting, with its integrated cold shoe mountable to microphone, 15mm Rod Clamp with Shoe Mount 1597, Articulating Rosette Arm (7") 1497 and wireless microphone etc.On the top of handle are an abundance of 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes for DIY options and at the end of handle are M4 threaded holes for Rod Clamp and an Arri locating points for 15mm Rod Clamp with Arri Locating Pins 2001 or Arri locating points extensions. The cage is equipped with two M4 threaded holes at the bottom, whereby Lens Adapter Support 2016 could be attached for additional mountings. The cage comes with NATO rail on the side to attach NATO Clamp 1885 or EVF Mount with NATO Clamp. In addition, it is also equipped with an eyelet for shoulder strap for your convenience.- Cage -SmallRig Cage 2049 is designed specifically for Panasonic Lumix GH5/GH5S.The GH5 cage benefits your Panasonic GH5 camera in video production by strengthening protection and stability and providing more mounting options. The cage fits the camera perfectly, and it does not block any access to the SD card slot, battery compartment, and all camera controls. It is equipped with an array of 1/4" threaded holes on the top for Top Handle 1984/1638.The integrated cold shoe on the top could attach microphone or accessories with cold shoe adapter. It features NATO rails on both sides for NATO handles to extend more mounting possibilities. Cold Shoe 1241 could be mounted on the cage via 1/4" and M2.5 threaded holes for microphone, LED lights and so on. Solid design, this cage is great for filmmakers who need a sturdy unibody design for add-ons. The wooden handle is a great addition. The only con is I wish it were a bit lighter.

Great stuff

It's not exaggeration that this fits the Sigma FP *exactly* - and if you have the large viewfinder attached in back, there is no areas of conflict between the two. I feel better about having a substantial grip on this tiny camera, and the frame gives me the feeling of having bumpers protecting it.

Awesome product

I added the small rig cage to my order because I knew it would definitely be easier to mount it on my Ronin S. The only issue is the power on/off is kinda covered, but I am very happy with my choice!  My camera now has a small exoskeleton for extra protection. I can mount whatever I need to it.  I don’t see a reason to ever have to take it off.  Definitely a must have for the black magic.

It's an absolute beast of a camera HOWEVER, you would be advised to get accessories for it, especially a battery alternative. I've had lots of fun using this so far.

A great camera, be prepared to spend more though.

Fits like a glove; it is and feels of high quality; it does not add too much more weight to the camera.

SmallRing Cage for Canon SL3 Camera

Great quality product! It feels really solid on the camera and I love the magnetic tool for tightening the baseplate screw. It still has easy access to the battery and sd card slot and it really enhances the use of the camera for filmmaking.

Great cage for a great price

Overall this cage is excellent and I would highly recommend it.

The only gripe I've discovered thus far is that it is impossible to extract the SD card from the camera body when it is in the cage (with fingers alone). Considering that it is so easy to connect the camera to the computer via USB, I'm not terribly upset about this minor inconvenience.

Build quality is excellent and it looks and feels great when the camera is installed.

Well Worth It

I would have given it 5 stars if only they had made the right side of the handle with the same design to mount the Smallrig wooden handle on both sides. I don't see any point of not doing it, since the space is there. People who are doing follow focus with the left hand would have handled the right hand side with the wooden grip.

I purchased this but had to return it due to the cage covering the remote port.

If you're using your 6D Mark II strictly for video and photos, this will work extremely well as the cage is comfortable to leave on at all times while shooting both... You'll even forget it's even there when shooting stills. However in my workflow, I use the remote port for time-lapse and stop-motion and I can't use this cage with those rigs. It was a big disappointment since this is the only cage for the 6D Mark II that I've found.

Hopefully Smallrig will fix this oversight or at least release a half cage or L Bracket to accommodate rigs that use the remote port.

Super solid build. Lightweight. A perfect first accessory for the BMPCC4K giving so much flexibility to build it out. Smallrig is a great option, especially for the price.

Nice item to protect your camera

The biggest issue with this cage is that it does not accommodate the timecode cable. Besides that big oversite in design the cage does the basics of protecting the camera a bit and providing the ability to attach creation accessories to the camera. Decent value.
