works great until the battery dies every two months or so. then i have to remember how to take it apart and replace cause it's not obvious. kind of beats the purpose of automation imho

Remember to change the battery

this is my second multipurpose sensor from samsung. i use this one on a doorway into a room i have made a music room for my harps. when the door opens, the lights will go on, and when i am done practicing and close the door, the lights will go out.

Very reliable and convenient

Zigbee has way too much interference and a shorter range. Your devices will always be offline without much troubleshooting.
