Good value for the price

Good budget buy. Probably wouldn't hold up to an accidental blow to the legs and would bend easily. But overall worth it if you're not a pro and don't want spend a lot of money on something you'll use seldom. It works for its intended purpose though.

Pretty Flimsy even for a cheap tripod

I bought these for my photography class to use. I figured with kids, it would be best not to pay too much in case they lose them or break them. I purchased these with that in mind. Well, they are more flimsy than I expected, and I didn't expect much considering the price. I don't think they will last too long, but only time will tell. Maybe, I'll change my review next year if they hold up. But for now, I'm slightly disappointed. My main disappointment is the head is poorly made, causing two of the three heads on the tripods I ordered to not sit flat when in the horizontal position. One has to adjust the legs for the camera to be level. This is a pain. I think I might try sanding the underside of the heads near the joint so that it can come down enough to lay flat. Oh, and one of them arrived broken. Adorama's customer service was great and replaced it without delay.

Inexpensive and functional

For the price (with free shipping) this was a heck of a deal. It is *very* light weight with super thin aluminum and pretty much everything is plastic. It will do just fine for my Micro 4/3 probably not so much for my 4x5 view camera. I don't suspect this will be a tripod my grand kids will inherit. I like that it has bubble levels on it. Good deal for the price of a cup of coffee.

worth the money

Have not had it long, but seems like a nice tripod for the money. I use mine as a light stand for my flash.

Excellent for compact digital camera

I bought this item for my cameras and love it. This tripod is lightweight and easy to carry. It fit with my IXUS but not for EOS. So, I not recommend this item for DSLR user.

Perfect tripod for small camera!

I bought this tripod for my wife. She shoots a Canon PowerShot S3 is. She uses the tripod to mount the camera and keep it aimed at birdfeeders as she waits. For this size camera this is an excellent tripod! It does the job at a terrific price.

lightweight and easy to use

I used this for stand for track, paintball, and landscape photographs. It's easy to maneuver and can hold up my IS -560 and 120-400 lens.

High Quality Inexpensive Tripod

This tripod works very well as an inexpensive addition to the Galileoscope (telescope) for use by students learning about the use of telescopes in their application to astronomy

Great quality and price

I use this to hold the camera to video baseball hitting practice to allow players to review their flaws.
