The Really Right Stuff TFC-24L tripod is just great! I needed a tripod that would be more secure to hold my 70-200 mm zoom lens, and this tripod more than handles it! I do HDR photography where you bracket a number of frames where you need your tripod to be be rock solid. I also do long exposure seascape photography where you need your camera to be as steady as possible, especially with water flowing around the base in soft sand. It can go as high as 75 inches and as low as about 4 inches. It's a fairly lightweight tripod and has a payload of 70 pounds! This will be the last tripod I will ever need and I'm so glad I have it!

Great piece of kit.

This is a surprisingly good tripod. It is about as stable as the Gitzo 1325 it replaces, yet is smaller, lighter and extends higher.  I have only used it on one photo trip of a few days, but I am extremely happy with it.

A tremendous upgrade from my old aluminum tripod. Light weight, yet very stable. The extra length fits my 5?10? frame perfectly.
