it does what its supposed to do, though it takes up a bit more room on the desk than i'd like.

Works Every Time No Plug & Pray

The ports on the device all work as advertised and seem to function well for the most part; however, there are two major issues I've had. First- this device only does 90W pass through charging, meaning it will not charge many of the devices that take 100W+ to charge- this is not made clear in the product advertising and makes it so that you have to have this AND the original charger plugged into the computer at the same time in order for the device to charge. 

This brings me to the next problem. As a result of having both devices plugged into my computer, there are now times when the computer doesn't recognize any charger plugged in (including the original charger). 

Be sure you're getting the correct device for your computer. Customer service won't help because they're not all knowledgeable about this point.  I spoke to CS before purchasing and asked them about this and they told me that it is a compatible device and failed to mention the point about charging capacity.

Universal is a misleading descriptor.

Only a four because some devices must be plugged in two or three times before it is recognized.
Once recognized, the device will work fine. No problems with second monitor as with my previous dock station (not a Dell)

Perfect Docking station for connecting the three monitors

I found this to be a decent dock. I am currently using this to dock it up with my two 27 inch 4k monitors to my macbook pro. For those who are using Mac's ensure to download and install display link to the macbook to make the dock work easier.

Decent dock with charging

Does pretty much everything as advertised but this item rune very very warm. An added stand with some heat sink capability would be advisable.

Nice Docking Station

This is simple and super useful.  One plug into my laptop (XPS-17) and all three external screens, my external keyboard and mouse and my network hardline all light up and work well.  This is super nice when I leave and only have to unplug one thing, then return and only one plug for all peripherals.  And it charges the laptop battery (slowly, but still).

I am experiencing issues with a low power notification on my new docking station and my new Dell laptop.

Price seems high, but I couldn't find anything else that I trusted. Easy to setup   Works perfectly

Rather pricey and disappointed that it didn;t have a RGB port for my old monitor, but so far it's working.

Pricey but Solid

Works very well, with convenient docking.  However, the wattage is a bit lower than I would have wanted and what I already have with my other dock.  That other dock has a small light on the USBC head that lights up when the dock plugs into my laptop.  I find that useful and this dock does not have that feature.  However, that dock other would not be available for several months and I needed one urgently.

Good purchase

Having a doc is a great time and space saver when it works properly. The first one I received did not work and then I was sent a refurbished one which doesn't make sense since I only had the first one for less than a week!

Could be better

The driver for my additional monitor doesn't work properly immediately and I keep getting a notice that my charging will be slower than the charger that came with my computer (130w) but this charger is supposed to have the same rating.
