Produce color documents and print directly from mobile devices with the HP Officejet Pro 6230 Wireless Color Inkjet Printer. This unit features a print resolution of 1200 x 600 dpi and can work with documents up to 8.5 x 14". Speed is also excellent with ISO speeds of 18 ppm in black or 10 ppm in color which can be boosted to 29 ppm in black or 24 ppm in color with a draft mode. Additionally, the printer is capable of borderless prints at up to 8.5 x 11" letter or A4 sizes. Featuring a 225-sheet input tray, the Officejet Pro 6230 is designed for high volumes of prints and it has automatic duplexing for saving paper. It also has a monthly duty cycle of 15,000 pages for handling large print jobs as well as USB 2.0, Ethernet and Wi-Fi connectivity options.

I wish they would put on the box that this product in NOT available for instant ink. The Instant ink program is great but I feel they should put this important fact on the box, or in this case on their websire which is where I purchased it. I am (was) an HP fan but no more. Feel like I wasted my money.

It does not work with my computer at this time. It worked initially but settings changed and I am looking to uninstall and reinstall and hope for the best!

Not Working at this Time

Have had for a while. Although it's print quality is good, the paper feed is atrocious!. Once a print job is completed, almost invariably I have to pull the paper tray and put pressure on the stack to get the paper to again feed properly.

Poor paper feed design!

well first of all this printer does not coincide with my computer--second it took me a month to get my money back from HP--I will still buy from HP but will be more picky..

Nice Printer....

The printer works great. I had a bit of a problem getting it to work but the HP Tech was wonderful and everything works now.

There is no usb cable provided with this printer, which is required in order to set up even wireless printing. Completely useless out of the box.

Unusable out of the box

This is a wonderful at home/basic office and personal printer. Takes up very little space, super lightweight, no fax or scan but nowadays not necessary for the most part.. Prints very well, fast also. Have not been able to get a wireless hookup working but will contact HP tech for help.

It?s working great. Same footprint as the 6100. I really all the new features I have now.

Perfect replacement for 6100

I have bought 3 HP printers and no new HO works with older computers! You must have a nearly née computer every time you purchase an HO printer.

Does not integrate well

Very unhappy with the purchase. Printer starts then stalls with the following pop up: "The ink cartridge carriage cannot move. Check for a paper jam or other obstruction. Press the OK button below or the OK or Resume button on the printer when ready.To cancel the printe job, press the Cancel (X) button on the printer or click Cancel Print." Review not for publishing just expressing my frustration.

Ink Cartridge Carriage Stalled

HP is the only printer I will ever buy. It is so simple to set up even for someone my age (73)

Easy to hook up

Having trouble setting this printer up. The black ink cartridge light keeps blinking. You can't print anything until you resolve this issue, so called HP and it has been 2 weeks now and no new setup black cartridge yet. I have bought HP printers for 25 years and never had an issue. I hope this is a one time issue. Needed this one for the store and it needed to fit under the counter which it does.

I am so glad I bought this printer! It is so quick and easy to print from my Chromebook or my iPhone. I love the quality when I print photos from my iPhone! Definitely a great buy!

Printer refuses to work at all. Multiple efforts to wade though maze of support site yield nothing but frustration.

worst overall experience ever.

Works fine for printing. Seems faster than rated. Relatively quiet and doesn't shake the desk at all. Does not copy, scan, make coffee etc. - just prints in BW and color as well as great 4x6 photos. paper handling is good, entire top lifts open for cartridge access, clearing jams, etc. Duplex prints effortlessly. Paper catch tray must be unfolded from front top of paper cassette otherwise shoots printed pages everywhere. Legal sized paper requires front of paper cassette to be open and then just sort of lays there - not optimal for full-time legal sized use.

Perfect for whenever "just a printer" is needed.

This HP Printer works really well for our needs. Fantastic Price, Customer Service and Shipping. Set up was simple, got it up in running in just a few minutes.  Prints excellent!

Wonderful HP Printer, Adorama Rocks!

Purchased what I believed was the all in one, but that is my fault. Already disappointed at unboxing. Took longer to get here than expected and it was terrible to connect wireless. Would not recommend, there are much simpler units available now that are much easier to install. Would have sent it back but school had already began and the shipping to receive was like 2 weeks.

Functional

Just what I needed, If it had a display so I would know when ink was running short it would get 5 stars

This is the 4th one of these I have purchased over the past few years. I really like ease of use and print quality for invoices with color. The price of the ink replacement cartridges are, to me on the high side. My biggest disappointment is that every one of these I have owned eventually just suddenly stopped printing one or more colors....one stopped printing all colors at once and one all black at once. Easy to set up on a network.

good printer for medium work load

It makes a noise when starting, paper isn’t feeding properly and I haven’t even gotten to do a test print. I’d like a printer to work the first time that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg.

Terrible Connectivity

I needed a printer that only prints and the 6230 answered the call. I am pleased with the recommendation from the HP Rep I spoke with during my selection process.

A bit difficult to set up but easy to use.

Wireless setup incredibly easy. Email docs to print with free hpeprint is pretty cool.
