I received the wireless system well packaged. After inserting batteries, they worked right away. Very pleased with the sound after using a basic lavalier mic 

The only drawback is the slight delay; maybe .5 seconds. Not a big deal though; easily corrected.

Make sure to decrease mic sound input on DSLR or it sounds loud & terrible. I switched from automatic to manual and turned down to lowest volume setting.

The system is a bit fragile when changing batteries - so be gentle. Otherwise you can't beat the price for recording great sound into the camera. 25ft distance is all I practically need.

I am using the device to record workshop sessions for education purposes. The digital quality of sound is amazing. Few more features can be added to the device as, to be rechargeable and battery condition indicator.
