Does exactly as promised, allows you to use EF glass on RF mount cameras. Tried it with Canon, Tamron and Sigma lenses on my R5 Mark II and all lenses worked exactly as they did on my old 90D, even autofocus. Very inexpensive compared to other mount adapters. A must-have for RF mount owners - it opens up a world of EF lenses to use.

Movement with heavy lens is concerning. Lots of plastic and the wiggle in connection concerns me, especially since I shoot action.  But if this is what it takes to use my old EF lens then will make do.

Not happy that their is no third party options for RF... Not all of us can afford $2000/$3000 glass.

A mount adapter that permits long-tern Canon camera users to use those EF lens's, some that are excellent and quite expensive, with your new R5 camera body.  A simple job to do, and it seems to work OK with my EF lens, but my nice Tamron ultra-wide angle lens is not usable due to strong vignetting.

Since I was upgrading to the R series from my old Rebel, I wanted to be able to use some of my older lenses. This adapter adds a bit of extra length to the whole thing, but it works great! I mostly have one telephoto zoom that I will be using it for, but it was far less expensive than buying the same lens in the R mount. Maybe someday. I also have a Celestron spotting scope that I wanted to be able to shoot through, since I have an adapter for Canon that only supports the EF lenses. By adding this adapter to it, I can mount the R8 onto the scope just fine.

This is a lifesaver for me since I've upgraded to Mirrorless. I have lots of expensive lenses for my DSLR and I was worried that upgrading to mirrorless would force me to have to buy all new lenses.  This works great. Communication between EF lenses and EOS R lenses is quick. No loss of Autofocus or lens controls.

It works seamlessly with my EF lenses. There is no conceivable lag in the AF responsiveness.

Does exactly what I need it to. Very high quality and its never left my camera. I would eventually toss it or hardly use it if I ever invest in RF glass, but it never leaves my body and serves its purpose.

I was gifted an R7 to replace my 77D. I don't have the funds currently to buy new lenses so I bought the adapter so that I could use what I have. I haven't used it much, shot some wildlife photos while on vacation. It worked fine for that.

the adaptor works seemlessly with the canon L series and sigma sport lenses I've tried it with. it doesn't seem to have any impact on their speed.
