You only need to buy one.

Since the beginning of the Sony A7R platform and the possibility of hybridizing the Sony line with Leica M lens, the adapter has proven to be the critical link. Novaflex makes the best adapters I've used for this purpose, until now. I am using the Leica SL2 with the LeicaM-Adapter-T and would add that this adapter, is superb, allowing electric data transfer and as well as an unimaginable snug fit. When you can stay within a given system my best advise would be do that. Why? If there is a problem in any part of a system chain (even with Leica SL2 to M cross platforming) you have only one manufacturer to take responsibility and deal with the issue(s).
