The Olympus HLD-8G is the perfect solution when you would like to have a bigger landscape grip without adding to much weight. It's ergonomic design greatly improves the overall stability of the camera in your hand especially when using long telephoto lenses.  In addition it comes with an built-in headphone jack, which enables you to monitor the sound while recording movies. The HLD-8G grip can be used with or without the optional HLD-6P battery grip.

Easier to hold when using the long zoom lens. It balances it out so much better.  I gave it 4 stars because the camera should have been made with a better grip to begin with.  You also have to remove the grip to change the battery. That is a negative.
