I purchased two SmartPro 1950VA, after 6 months one unit malfunctioned. I contacted support and they sent me a replacement. 1 star off for malfunction.

I would buy this product again

The SMART1500RM2U has been running well. We just have a 1U server and some network devices plugged into it and it works well for the price.

Good UPS for a smaller rack

I really like the product. It doesn't have a lot of features, but it just works. It would buy another one, but I probably wouldn't get the battery expandable version.

This is a replacement for one of three Tripp Lite battery backups in our server rack. The previous one lasted a great 10 years before it finally pushed up some digital daisy's and wouldn't even turn on anymore. This is a great lifesaver when your company is out in "no-man's-land" and your power is a bit iffy at times. Thanks a lot Tripp Lite.

Great battery backup for the server room!

I purchased this unit for the name on the box and haven't been disappointed yet! I also bought because I can expand with more batteries for a longer run time in the future. I have my ONT and router plugged into this unit and I am seeing right around 95 minutes run time on the battery. I will be getting more of these in the future for my home network.

UPS is very well built. Lcd screen is very nice. I like the fact that it is rack mountable and it comes with the brackets and screws. It gives me a piece of mind knowing that my server is well protected.

Replaced some older units that were having re-occuring issues (not Tripp Lite) with these TrippLite units, I have had these units installed for a few years now and just did some PM work only to replace batteries for PM. Easy to swap the batteries.

I'm extremely disappointed with this device! It makes too much fan noise! You should have designed the device so the fan only runs in high load situations. Wasted money!

Too Much Fan Noise

Product was easy to install with battery pre connected. Instructions for full configuration of ups should be included in the manual. I had to contact support on process for snmp configuration and waiting for response.

GREAT PRODUCT

I have used Tripp Lite for years without issue. We bought two of these both with the expansion battery pack units. Quick, easy installation and setup. They protect multiple pieces of equipment with a 48 min runtime.

A must have for network protection

Very sorry to find that an item could not be returned to Amazon for "environmental" reasons. Have never had a return refused before.

I would not ever buy this or any item from Tripp Lite.

This is the second one I had to purchase. The one before it lasted 3 years and I tried to replace the batteries in it but the LCD would not come back up. I had to replace the whole unit.

Not a good long term solution

The equipment is very easy to install and use it. Previously been using different brand, gave me lots of issue with printers I use in my office. But this one seems the appropriate one I was looking for.

The units protecting our automated test equipment. One of our test systems computers hard drives crashed a while back because of powers disruption. Ended up losing all our configurations and settings as well even though the hardware had standard protection it did not hold. With your UPS units we have reduced a potential disruption, and hardware damage risk.

It works great. Things are powered up and will stay that way if we lose power.
