Amazing battery and literally keep a fx30 and mars m1 monitor charged for 6-8 hours.

I love this little matte box. It's super light yet very sturdy. It also sets a mood on the camera.

Great product.

Love all the accessories that comes with it.  You get all the lens rings you need. A nice carrying pouch. You are also able to use filters on your lenses or rectangular filters if you want.

5 star matte box

This little guy is feather-lite but it looks mean! I have to admit I got it primarily because the way it looks but it really does a nice job of helping to shade out excessive sunlight and it's nice to be able to slap the visor shut instead of digging the lens cap out of my pocket every time I'm taking a break. I'm using it on a Sony ZV-E10 with Sony lenses which are 49mm. This doesn't adapt to fit that diameter out-of-the-box so I was using a series of step-up rings for a little while. I thought that looked a little over-the-top though so I asked SmallRig about a single adapter to step up the 49mm to 95mm and they immediately offered to make one for me. Now it's just perfect. Love it; love the way it looks and love the attention it gets.

Great for blocking sunlight so you don't get unwanted lens flares.

Great piece!

Sturdy for how small and lightweight it is. Does the job and glad to have it. You do need to know this attaches directly to the lens using ring adapters, so if you have a vintage lens that rotates when you focus/zoom/etc. it will make the matte box start spinning; which is fun to see for the first time.

Great quality with a minor quirk.

Size for expensive lens

This is a sweet matte box. Very well made and has what you need. Note that if you want to mount it to rods in the event that you have a variable ND you want to use, SmallRig does have a holder for this matte box which attaches to rods instead of the lens. Also note that the silly Matte Box sticker on the flag comes right off easily! Would buy this again.

The reason why I like the SmallRig LIghtweight Matte Box is because of the versatile ND Filter Slot(s) that can house 4"x4" Filters or 5"x6" Filters.
