I was unable to use it because my new Bravia 8 K55XR80C 4K OLED HDTV did not have the correct output sound port for that headphone.

I bought a pair of Sony Bluetooth headphones and I would like to let you know I really like them but you sure didn't waste any money on instructions. I am not a electronic geek and I have them working no thanks to Sony.

No instructions

I bought these for my father for Christmas. They work well, but have a nasty feedback that happens randomly. The headphones would be a four out of five if they didn't have the feedback issue.

This is my 4th set of this or similar RF400 Headphones. I wear them out as I use it all day every day. With this set I glued the on/ff switch in the on position as this component seems to wear out first and is not replaceable. That said, when this one wears out I will likely buy another like it. The quality of sound is good and the range is adequate.

RF-400 Wireless Home TV Headphones

I bought these headphones thinking they would have more range that their predecessors, but not thus so far.

A bit weaker in receiving the signal that I figure

This headset is comfortable and has decent sound quality. The usable range is about 50 feet which is a good match to my needs. However, it has one fatal flaw: It will not work reliably on the included NiMH batteries because it thinks they're dead when they deliver their rated output voltage. It works great on alkaline cells which output higher voltage, and it will work on fully charged NiMH cells that have been on charge immediately before use. However, it will not start if their charge cycle completed several hours before use. I received this unit as a gift last Christmas and registered it online at that time. However, Sony will not honor the 1-year warranty without uploading a proof-of-purchase which is n/a due to the gift situation. Even if Sony did, their fix is to send me a new battery pack when the problem is actually with the headset's threshold of low-battery detection. I've been thru this exact situation in the past, and expect the "new battery" fix would last just long enough to expire the warranty. As a result, I cannot recommend this product, which would otherwise rate 5 stars.

Worked great for the first 6 months

Doesn't hold charge for more tha 4 hours; scratch reception; it my connection to TV; I had a technician check it and my ATT Satellite's dish.

WONDERFUL

These things are great. Not only do I now hear the dialog clearly, I don't need to turn up the TV volume. The headphones let me have greater watching pleasure, but I don't disturb anyone else. They also have a fairly good range. I can go get something in the kitchen or use the bathroom without losing connectivity. Best Xmas gift I got. Highly recommended it you have trouble making out the dialog on a show.

Great sound and range. Performance of the headphones is great. However the Volume Wheel is in an akward place and does not extend enogh to be fully comfortable in its use. Needs to be tweeked.

The BEST on the market!

I purchased 2 sets to replace our MDR-RF985R. Unfortunately they are not as comfortable as the old ones. These earpieces are more narrow which makes them sit partially on the ear rather than over the ear.

HOWEVER, THE TV HAD PROBLEMS SO I RETURNED IT TO DEALER....SAM'S CLUB AND BOUGHT A SAMSUNG ULTRA HI-DEF 70" AND LEARNED THEY WOULD NOT OPERATE WITH THAT TV EITHER! SO, I HAVE USELESS $125.00 HEADPHONES. HOW ABOUT A REFUND BECAUSE NOWHERE DOES THE BOX, DIRECTIONS OR SALES PEOPLE SAY ANYTHING ABOUT THEIR COMPATABILITY

Quality up sound

Product advertisement was great and was what I was looking for - Theatrical surround with thunderous sound. However the surround sound was like listening to someone talking in a barrel or tunnel and sounded like an echo with the last part of echo somewhat distorted. There is no thunderous sound. Over all quality seemed ok - the fit was quite tight at times. I was replacing my older Sony headset because of the age - this older set if far superior to the new set - the online order does not allow open box returns. I have always bought Sony products and they are quite good. I would like to contact Sony for a chat as I am not satisfied with this product. Thank you

Does not work

I bought it because of my grandchild who is now living with us. I wanted a headset that:
1. is comfortable,
2. has excellent sound, and
3. is totally synced with the picture.
