It good but I wish it works correctly more often.  It freezes and pauses and that can cause missed shots or footage.

I purchased this device after testing it out at the Apple store.  I must tell you, it improves the quality of your video by at least 90%. By profoundly reducing camera shake, you get sequences that are much more cinematic.

My suggestion to a prospective buyer is to go ahead and purchase this device, and practice mastering your ninja walk so you can get the best possible results. Walking forward is the situation where you are most likely to get camera shake, so the ninja walk reduces that bouncing motion.

You can also use this from a moving vehicle.  If you are the passenger, roll your window down and get to work.  This is a great resource to have in your toolkit.

While you are at it, pick up an extra battery so you are never left dead in the dust.

It's a very good product that I would recommend. Works well with the IPhone 7.

DJI Gimbal

If you do a lot of run and gun or on the go projects, especially in busy public locations, then this gimbal is perfect. The compact size and pairing with your iPhone keeps you from looking like you're filming in places you may not supposed to be.

Super easy to set up and the battery lasts really long. It fit decently in my pocket but also comes with a clutch-bag-esque carrying case with handle that's not bad either.

V-Loggers and family moment capturer's will love to be able to grab moments within seconds that normally would take a ton of time and equipment to set up.

It comes with an app to film with but I recommend FilmicPro because it has way more features. It also has a DJI Osmo setting in the app to sync properly.

Take your iPhone movies to a whole other level with this wonderfully convenient, professional quality gimbal.

Perfect Stabilizer For On-The-Run Shoots

Good quality of equipment, at first I had problems with the dji app, but I uninstalled it and reinstalled it directly from the dji official website and now works 100%, I recommend this equipment for amateurs and semi and professionals ...

Great gadget...!!!!

I've been amazed at how steady it is. The most extreme example is that I went over rough railroad tracks while filming from the car  and you couldn't even tell.

Durable, amazing build and stability

The unit does everything it's supposed to do, but the DJI Go app won't work with my Galaxy S4. A little bit of information that everyone forgot to mention... So, someday when I get a newer phone, I may be able to use the features in the app; til then I just use the phone's camera app. Somewhat disappointing.

gimbal works fine but...

I am a big DJI fan and use their drones and Ronin and Ronin-M stabilizers in my professional real estate photography business.  I required an iPhone stabilizer for the real estate business, and the iPhone required a small accessory wide angle lens attachment.  The OSMO Mobile barely provided sufficient balance adaptation for the iPhone 6S Plus alone, but with the small attachment, I had to jury rig an awkward counterbalance weight affixed to the side gimbal.  Workable, but unnecessary with a little improved engineering.

Poor balance limits

I have an iPhone 6 Plus, and had hoped this would be a great functioning way to take stable video. Had trouble with keeping the gimbal centered from the start, and the size of my phone was difficult in keeping the alignment. I returned it after just a couple tries and will either go with the Osmo or nothing. It's probably more suited for smaller phones, just not mine.

Not Great For Bigger Phones

The stabilizer itself is really great. Solidly build, lightweight, works like a professional tool. It's hard to imaging that for that price you can get a device which can produce really professional videos. But iPhone App has some flaws - it's counter-intuitive. Saving your videos is a real pain unless you know exactly how to do it. My hope is that it's just a beginning and the software will become much better in the future.

Cool gadget, but the App is not so great

I was so excited to receive the gimbal. But it didn't take long for me to realize that the design was severely floored. The gimbal basically works against the inboard stabilization of the 6s and iPhone 7, I tested both extensively. I so wanted the gamble to work. 
When the gimbal is steadying the phone, the in-phone stabilizer tries to compensate, which in turn give you the jumpy video, you'll find footage on youtube.

No good with iPhone 6s or 7

Doesn't quiet fit a LG G3 due to phone's curvy back cover. And it's doesn't feel perfectly balanced no matter how i tried. But, once clamped down the DJI On app worked ok with my phone running Marshmallow. Active track is the main reason I got this, and it worked ok. Just don't expect it to track to quickly to rapid movements. And the gimbal doesn't truly articulate 360 degrees in all 3 axis, but it does smooth out most angles and shots on the go. So it's a keeper just not as good as I had hoped for. 

Make sure your phone fits. My LG G3's curvy back didn't .

In the past I have always regarded Dji as a great innovative company. I presently own an OSMO and an INSPIRE. Both of which I truly like very much and Dji has worked to improve the software constantly on the INSPIRE to add some great features.
Since the release of the NEW!!! OSMO MOBILE,  I was extremely excited to use it with the new LG V20 Cell Phone which has an amazingly clear 4K camera and audio system.  I was looking forward to get the OSMO MOBILE it in my HOT little hands and test it out before I took it on a job I would be doing in Las Vegas. UNFORTUNATELY my EXCITEMENT was tarnished by  lack of communications from Dji and problematic software inherent in this new futuristic marvel. I have not been as excited by a product since I acquired the steadicam which I owned in the early 80's, a model 1A.
I had tried to contact the folks at Dji for weeks prior to buying the device but I could not get anyone to answer my calls. I called tech support to find out how I could reach management with questions before I purchased it but I was told to reach out to usmarketing@dji.com, marketing@dji.com and pr@dji.com. All emails seemed to fall on deaf ears. I even called China 2x to see  if I could have someone call me back. I do product integration and I wanted to use the OSMO Mobile in conjunction with some other devices to see how they would work together for delivering Spot Breaking news by a reporter when a camera crew is not available. With all my calling I could not find someone to talk to and time was running out so I just bought the OSMO hoping that it was the answer to a BRILLIANT outcome. Unfortunately the LG V20 and other Android hardware has varying issues with the software connectivity of The OSMO. Mind you I could not test  theOsmo with an IPhone, but if you look at the reviews you will see they are pretty split. My guess is most of the dissatisfied customers probably own ANDROIDS. If you look at the Dji website you will notice the OSMO MOBILE is always being used with an IPHONE.
In conclusion I feel the Dji OSMO MOBILE could be a great tool if all the features worked with my phones. I feel Dji could have put more time into the development of this product for the broad base fans of this type of device instead of just setting it free  and letting consumers buy the product only to be disappointed that it did not work with their personal cell devices. My Advice.....If you want a gimbal to smooth out your camera moves and you don't need a device with all the bells and whistles that don't work look into some of the devices that are made out of machined aluminum. They are more robust and you can screw them right to a tripod or a selfie stick without having to buy a bunch of other accessories to adapt them. Some of these units also have some cool remote controls and also have follow feature that are not as cool as Dji but they work. OR>>>>>>You could just dump your phone and get an IPHONE..
