You will find a great light source like this at this price.
We use it for our school video studio.

Affordable but Well Made.

Great light. But once they?re set up, you?ll never want to take them apart again. The rods that attach the shade to the light are just a little too long. It is very easy to accidentally rip the shades because of them. These are good for setting up and leaving them in your house or studio. Great for self-tapes.

Good light. Not portable.

These lights are great with a lot of adjustability between height, angle, and being dimmable. The octagon is a struggle to get setup, two rectangles would have sufficed.

Great value. Works well as diffused lighting and compact, light weight. Slightly tricky to assemble my first time. But easy after one.

I just got my Clar kit and got it set up. It does seem to be a bargain for what it includes at a decent price. Rather plasticy and flimsy, but it did go together, and all parts worked. Not for heavy duty use, but for small projects and getting started with photography lighting this seems like a good purchase. 
Comments in reviews about being difficult to set up apply to the octagonal softbox. I have a few helpful hints:
Read the instructions-they have important clues! However, in addition to the instructions, you should be aware that:
-- When you thread each support wire through the softbox fabric, make sure that you include the small black loops on the black back of the material (easy to miss them!) before inserting the wires into the hard plastic head of the light. If you fail to do that, you may tear the fabric.
-- After mounting the first pair of wires on opposite sides by beginning with the white-tipped end, you should reverse the order for the rest of the wires by starting with the white-tipped end in the outer pockets and then inserting the blunt end of the wire into the hard plastic light mount.
-- Make certain that whatever order of mounting you chose will NOT leave the final wire to be inserted next to the bulky bracket that will attach to the light stand. (I unintentionally did that, and found it impossible to insert the final bracing wire because that bracket was in the way. I had to take some wires back out and re-do the process so it would not end with that final wire in that location.)
With this all set up now, I look forward to taking some useful pictures!
