Very good monitor, size is fantastic. Only negative is I'll need a better video card to drive the full resolution.

Great monitor, using mostly for productivity such as multiple windows open and photo editing

Great for productivity

The screen itself is very good . I am not a gamer, I bought this monitor for the size of work space and to that end it is great.
 However, the customer support is one of the worst that I have ever encountered. First LG does not tell you that this monitor
 does not have speakers. 3 different support staff told me that I could not use external speakers and would have to settle
 using a headset. I purchased this monitor through Best Buy, I spoke with their Geek Squad and within in 30 minutes they had
 the monitor playing sound through my Logitech Ultimate THX surround system. Secondly the joy stick that controls the 
settings does not work properly. 3 different support staff could not help and all were willing to leave me out on a limb saying
 that they could not correct the problem. So, now I just use the joy stick to turn the monitor on or off.
I had always thought that LG was a good company, well i was WRONG. I spent a lot of money for this machine but they could
 care less. I Also the user manual is terrible !! There is not one diagram in the manual which is poorly written and this thing is 
a beast to turn around . All in All this has been a nightmare ...so pathetic

BUYER BEWARE!!!!

Purchased this during the Cyber Monday sale.  As part of the sale, they offered expedited shipping for free.  Since my monitor was not working properly, I made my purchasing decision based on the fact that I can get my monitor in 2 days due to the expedited shipping.  I wait 3 days and finally get a shipping notice from LG saying my monitor has shipped.  It will need another 2-3 days for delivery from Fedex.  I called them up asking why they offer expedited delivery in 2 days when it takes the same 6 days as ground shipping.  The customer rep says it was probably due to the increased demand of sale items from Cyber Monday that caused the delay.  Buyers, don't choose or pay for expedited shipping from LG because it will not be delivered on time.  They need to learn from Amazon.  My only recourse is to refuse shipment and buy from Amazon.  Laughingly, the monitor is cheaper now on Amazon after the Cyber Monday sale has passed.
