Overall, my experience has been mostly great, great trackpad, great keyboard even though it's pushed to the left, amazing speakers, probably the best display I've seen on a laptop and it performs as you'd expect it to. The only problem is related to charging the laptop and the battery life itself, I'm getting about 5 hours of battery life with basic tasks such as office, watching a video, browsing the web, etc. I was disappointed to find out about the mediocre battery life, but it so happens that I'm already used to doing all of my intensive work plugged to the wall, and for anyone that plans to push this laptop to or near it's maximum note that the provided 170W power brick will not keep up with the laptop's power draw and the battery will loose charge while plugged. When I was rendering a project (CAD & Blender), I noticed that my laptop's battery didn't increase in charge although plugged in, remaining at 66% for 40 minutes or so, sometimes I do gaming on the side, which can hit both the CPU and GPU, when I did, I noticed that my battery does drain although plugged it, trying different battery modes didn't solve this problem either.

Lenovo wants you buy their more expensive power bricks separately, I can't think of any other reason why lenovo would ship a laptop with an inadequate power brick.

Almost perfect, one major issue

I bought this laptop about a month ago after my last Lenovo (purchased in 2015) became too slow to continue with it.  I recently got a promotion at work and I'm doing more work on the computer versus hands on work and needed a new laptop.  

I also have a youtube channel and will be using this for editing videos, so I needed something with a fast processor and a good graphics card for processing videos.  I found that in this laptop for sure (I purchased this thru costco).

The i9 processor gives me the speed I need.  The 32gb of ram gives me the memory to compute and complete tasks without lag.  

Others have commented on the battery life, well, I'm not one to go sit for hours on end using it without a charging source.  I use it in spurts and usually never away from a charging source. 

The screen is good and you can watch videos.  The speakers aren't the best, but pretty decent for a laptop.

My biggest complaint about this laptop however is that the usb-c thunderbolt 4 port DOES NOT SUPPORT CHARGING.  I added a usb-c dock to increase my workflow and when I plugged it in it did not charge.  I spoke to customer service and they advised me that the port does not support charging (I didn't know there was a difference, I thought they all did).  For a $2000 laptop, the one USB-c port should support charging. Also, there should be more than one usb-c port, hence the reason I got the dock. 

Overall, I'm very happy with this laptop for the reasons explained above.  I'll just have to get another charger for when I'm doing work at my desk and I'll keep the dock to increase my work flow.

Great laptop EXCEPT the t4 port does not charge

I really like everything about this laptop except the battery life. I'm only getting maybe 4  hours on battery. That may be a deal breaker and I am thinking about returning it. I can't figure out why the battery is so bad and we all know well that it will get worse with age.
Otherwise, it has been able to handle my 150 GBs of photo files very well! Great camera and speakers.

Terrible battery life in a great laptop

I am so unhappy with this laptop. The processing speed is very fast and the graphics card works well, but I have to major issues:
1. The screen is malfunctioning after not even a full week of use. It goes black unless the laptop is turned upside down or extended exactly to a certain point. I thought there was a software issue, but I tried everything. It is clearly a hardware problem.
2. The battery is really bad. I only got 3-4 hours before it died last night.  A laptop at this price point should have much better battery life.
Unfortunately, the laptop has to go back to Costco. The battery life I could maybe live with, but the screen is not functioning. Waste of time on this one.

Battery and Screen issues

The laptop crashed immediately after powering on. Although the system has 32 gigabytes of ram, it still responds slowly and occasionally hangs, despite the amazing display quality.

Poor Performer

Was supposed to be available in May of 2023, but still cannot be purchased and it's July. Very dissapointing.
