Pretty good scans. The device would be better if the tilt was also automated.

Exactly what I needed. Great value here if you wanted to get into this 3D mapping industry without sinking a ton of money into it. Uses equipment you probably already own.

Perfect for 3D mapping

This is definitely a niche product. What is does, it does well enough. The app is ok as well, though it wasn't clear if you should try pairing with bluetooth first (it won't work); the app does it a bit more seamlessly. If you could mount a phone horizontally instead of just vertically, it might be more useful. Also, if you could control the rotation at all, by app or otherwise, would help this be useful as well.
