Perfect solution

I really like these tripod legs. I paired these with a low cost fluid head I bought that happens to match the nice black/blue color scheme. The result is a really nice feeling, solid tripod. These legs operate nicely, have a very solid quality feel, and look outstanding. They have a bit of weight to them, which is good for stationary work and not great for hiking. Coming from the cheap plasticky type tripod I think we’ve all owned, this is a major step up.

Great tripod legs

Truly excellent basic tripod. Small enough for travel, quick to set up and take down, lightweight - and sturdy. Middle section unscrews in the middle for low shots. Tripods lighter and smaller than this tend to get very complex, design and material-wise. Yes, with another tripod you can save an inch or so or a few ounces of weight - but for me this hits the sweet spot. Designed in Japan, Made in Thailand.
