I don't have any comparable usage to other high end noise cancellation headphones but took the chance on these based on the other Sonos products I own. I love these headphones! They are comfortable, easy to pair and use with multiple devices. During the day, they are paired to my phone and computer. They work seamlessly between streaming music from my phone and taking work calls on my computer. In the evenings, I use them in the den to watch TV, seamlessly switching to the headphones from my Sonos home theater system. 
I've also taken calls at a loud coffee shop and been told my voice is clear and the background noise cannot be heard.
I've yet to use them during air travel but fully expect a much more peaceful experience.
Again, cannot provide an opinion directly comparing to the competition but my only "complaint" is the bass is not as pronounced as I would have expected (even set at max level). Sound is still superb and they are headphones, so perhaps my expectation was too high.

Fantastic headphones

I initially wanted Apple over ear headphones but tried these on instore instead. The active noise and noise cancelling sold me as I'm a teacher and sometimes need to block out the noise of the world so I don't get overstimulated. The audio quality is great. And they are light and sleek.

I would buy these over any other branded headphones

I'm a music junkie. I enjoy the nuances in sound. I am impressed with the detail, I just want a little more volume.

Was looking at this for a while. Even had Apple AirPod Max. These things are awesome, even by themselves without a Sonos sound bar. The sound bar integration is gravy on top. The wireless streaming crushes Bluetooth.

SONOS Ace, first it was a pain, could not link headphones to SONOS app, 2 hours on phone with help desk :( However, eventually agreed product must be faulty and exchange was arranged. All good, quality product.

Quality product

Good over the ear headset. These are my go to headset now. Very comfortable & i purchased the sweat resistant replacement over the ear cushions when i do active stuff like yard work or jogging. ??

Given as a gift, but not really seeing the benefit - prefer the capabilities of the AirPods Pro and Max in comparison? yes, its not the same thing, but sound quality seemed sort of ordinary for the Ace, when I was expecting the excellence of our Arc+Era+Sub Atmos setup.

Build quality and materials are however superb.

These headphones feel and sound great. I've used all of the most popular headphone brands over the past 2 years, these are the only ones that feel like something I'd pay for and sound like it too.. other headphones are too light and flimsy, these are definitely heavier, but still very easy to wear for long periods of time.

Easy pairing to my phone. Great features long battery life and works seamlessly as always with all the Sonos products I own. Sure the app sometimes is a little buggy but what app isn't these days sure Sonos did mess up with latest update but I have full confidence they will get it working the way it should all in a matter of time.

Great pair of headphones, awesome sound and very comfortable. Look well built so hopefully will last a while.

Very happy with the sound and flexibility of these headphones. The sound is amazing and I'm finding more opportunities to wear them as they are very sturdy and well built. Going to need a better case for traveling with them but looking forward to wearing them on the plane. I would highly recommend these headphones to anyone looking for great sound and long listening.
