I bought the IPad for my husband.  He had been using my very old one and could not get some things he wanted.  He loves the new one.  We are an IPad family...our grandson has a fancy IPad and I have a mini that is the same as my husbands.  Evenings you can find the three of us sitting in the family room playing on our pads.  I certainly would recommend this product to my friends and relatives.  There is nothing that we don't like about our pads.

Best portable iPad ever

Upgraded from an iPad mini 4. The differences are not huge. Same size, same design. Display maybe slightly brighter, and with “True tone”. Also slightly faster, but for my use it didn’t make a huge difference. I use it mostly for ForeFlight navigation app. Absolutely love the iPad minis, and will keep buying them. Also buying through Adorama was a great experience.

Great iPad

I wish it was all screen and had face ID like the pro version. Touch ID on the front and the bezels are out dated. 5th Gen. is basically just a processor update which is a very bad call by Apple. Should've had a design like the pro version, more screen less bezels. Resolution is still the same as the last one, rear camera is same only the front camera got a bump but still not enough. Doesn't even have usb-c. 

Overall very lazy and bad call by Apple with the 5th Gen.

Having had the iPad Mini 5 Cellular for a few weeks, I'm delighted with its capabilities. I use the Sprint unlimited plan and a Logitech Crayon with this and it's the perfect tablet to write notes, read, and take on the go, whether I'm working on a train, bus, cafe, or a park.

I previously had an iPad Mini 2, so same exterior, but without the TouchID, speed, and responsiveness of the 5. Price for the Cellular is still a bit hefty (just the price and for me in general, not in comparison to other tablets), but since this will be my tablet for years to come it is well worth the investment into the upgrade.

I am not an apple fan and my problem with them is that you are forced to use there cloud storage if you fill up your storage but 
I have limited it to not storing anything on it and just use it for travel and it works great for my daughter

It’s an apple ipad. You get what you pay for when it comes to tablets. The price is a little high for small tablet, but with the internals it won’t be outdated for many years. I am still using an iPad mini 2 writing this review for my wife’s new 2019 iPad mini. If you like apple, you won’t be disappointed. Adorama has been a good company to work with. Keep in mind that they require signatures for deliveries of iPads. Took me some extra time to receive mine because I didn’t realize this.

Stable, fast, convenient.

This item is exactly as described.  The gold color looks more rose gold to me, but Apple is calling it gold.  It replaced a 4th gen Mini, and is not that much different, but I bought the larger capacity model, 256 GB.  The speed seems faster.  My 4th generation was getting a little sluggish.  The ipad mini is my favorite ipad.  I’ve had the large pro, as well of a few generations of the ipad, but the form factor makes this one my go-to ipad.  The only downside, and this is the case for all ipads, is the lack of face recognition, which I find very useful on my phone.

This iPad Mini is just about perfect.

I purchased this for my 9 yrs old son, he loved it. He plays Fortnite and said that it's NOT at all laggy. He had iPad Air 2, where he had this complaint all the time. Screen size is perfect. The price listed in Adorama is higher than B&H, Apple & BestBuy, but they do price match. So no complaint.

I’ve been waiting since the Mini 2 to upgrade and it was well worth it! Screen resolution, speed and storage, are amazing.  It’s a great size for travel and to comfortably use if you’re reading in bed or a coffee shop, just the perfect size for consumption. Adorama shipping was quick, even a little discount. Very happy with the purchase!
