I have had this for a number of years and use it on my Meade LX75 R8 Reflector and my Celestron CGEMII mount.  Works VERY well and I have had no problems with it at all.  I would recommend this product to others.

Very Nice Tracking Ability

Celestron Starsense Autoalign -- perfect alignment and tracking within minutes every time. That pretty much sums up my experience using this product since I put it on my CPC1100!

I love this thing... It removes all the BS associated with night sky observing.  If you use it with the WiFi accessory - get a aux splitter or it will postpone your fun a week.  You can use the SkyPortal software with your iPhone and remotely control the scope and get ready for some fun!

Perfect accessory

Excellent!! My Grandson and I used this for the first last nite. It took us about 15-20 minutes to complete the calibration the first time then very quickly after that we were star gazing. Expensive but worth it for the quality time spent with my grandson which is priceless!

Excellent bit of tech!

Does was it claims to. Put the telescope down, tell it too align. Watch it spin around as it figures out where it is at. It's sensitive too. To test I did this in Chicago before an upcoming trip. Light pollution was bad. In fact I was in-between two street lamps.  Whereas I could only see a half dozen stars the telescope would spin around and say "43 stars found"... "93 stars found" etc.  Afterwards I'd select an object from the app on my phone and, sure enough, there it was in view of the eye piece. I'll know more after my trip to big sky country but I fully anticipate a rewarding experience.

Absolutely amazing. Made my night worry free when it comes to alignment. Directions are straight forward and super easy use. If you are beginner or advanced this will make everything better. Adorama was the only one to have it in stock and shipped it right quick. I definitely recommend, worth the money.

Very awesome, how did I live without it?

The online and written instructions were not very useful to me. I found tips that were useful helping me understand how to set up the camera by reading the printed instructions though. I found the software and hardware instructions to be a bit misleading. It works just fine once you get set up and calibrated. It will fine stars and track them too. The first time I viewed the moon, I had no idea it moved across the sky so fast. The StarSense made viewing it a lot more enjoyable. It tracks so smoothly you wont even notice your scope moving at all. Great product. Could be sold at a much better price.

Great product. Does what it is designed for.

Great Product. My fellow Mallincam astro-guy uses Starsense on his 16 inch RC telescope at his observatory in Louisiana. Since he operates remotely, he depends on Starsense to map the sky and locate deep sky objects with no issues. I have not installed mine yet but am looking forward to using.

Good Job

Worked like a charm from the initial alignment to the calibration. Definitely a must buy if you value time observing and not fiddling with alignments. In my Celestron CPC 1100 HD Deluxe I'm ready to start every observing session within 5mins or less. That alone is worth the price to me and my household.

Adorama's bundle that includes the Starsense Camera just makes it that much more affordable and worth it.

Starsense is a must buy. Especially if you actually value time observing and not aligning

This is a fantastic product if you want what is essentially a robotic telescope. Align this once (as long as you leave it mounted on the telescope) and after that all you have to do is setup the scope, press align, go have a cup of your beverage of choice, and this does the rest. No 2+2, 2+3, 2+4 alignment required.

Celestron Starsense Autoalign makes telescope alignment a snap. I also use the Celestron SkyPortal WIFI and coupled with the free Celestron SkyPortal software app make alignment and sky viewing easy and enjoyable. Would recommend to all. Love it.

Celestron Starsense Autoalign is Great

Took this out for the first time under less than optimum conditions - hazing sky, an almost a full moon and dew setting in.  After initial setup and only one calibration I was able to find everything that wasn't blocked by clouds.  The instructions don't exactly match what happens with this unit but with some trail and error I was able to get it to work. Gave it 4 stars but only one shows up (5 if the instruction were better written).Don't let the price scare you away if you really want to spend more time observing and less time trying to polar align manually.

This tool does work, although you must make an effort to balance the tripod and mount, and get a decent polar alignment. The Polar Alignment is also automated so it doesn't require a polar scope and a teenage contortionist to accomplish. 

I feel the auto align is often not necessary but really helpful in light polluted areas or when a cloudy sky makes two or three star alignment almost impossible. That's when the StarSense AutoAlign really comes in handy.

I have seen comments saying you really don't need this, but I am one of the amateur's that does like this.   I do astrophotography and tie it into the star aling and it is a great addition.

This technology is revolutionary and makes set up a breeze. After I received my celestron 925 I needed a few more things to go with it .And Adorama was there to help out and thanks to them I just need some clear skies and I am ready to go thanks to ADORAMA.

Great star alignment

The weather here in NE Ohio is not always great for astronomy.  This is a fine Celestron accessory and does speed up the process of aligning my Celestron Evolution 8" scope which is important when your viewing time is limited.  I would recommend also having another finder mounted on the tube for rough pointing.  I didn't give this five stars because the hand controller menu is not very intuitive and has taken some time to learn.  Tracks fine and works well for astrophotography when using a wedge (Celestron finally came out with one for the Evolution models).  Not an essential accessory, but a nice one to compliment the scope's potential.

The Starsense has made alignment so fast. What use to take a half hour once most of the stars are out, now takes three or four minutes with very few stars out. It took 15 to 20 minutes the first time, but now is really easy.
Mounts easily to existing bracket.
Haven't found anything bad yet.
