The Rode pic pro recording quality is good. The automatic on/off saves you from wasting the battery life if The camera is not in use. The downside of the mic is the size is too big. It blocked the viewfinder when you mount the mic onto the camera.

The mic recording quality is good. I like the automatic on/off button so that you won’t waste the battery life. The downside is it is too big. The viewfinder is blocked after you mount the mic onto the Canon M50.

I used this for a series of shoots outside. I tried each setting when it was both windy and fine out and I’m overall impressed with it. I would suggest this.

Fantastic microphone- be aware it will not plug and play into an iPhone - even with the Apple 3.5 to lightning adapter. You will need to buy an additional adapter.

I'm just a hobby film maker. This mic is perfect for my run and gun needs. Quick set up and take down when on the go, with best sound quality in this price range.

Great on board shotgun mic.

The unit is ok. Does not block noise as I hoped.

I have been very happy with this mic, the auto on and off has been a life saver, as has running in safety mode. I had to get a cold shoe extender/adapter for it to fit in the Sony Ax 100 hot shoe due to the camera's design. It works great with all my other cameras without the adapter. Rechargeable batter is good as well. Audio-wise it gets a little room verb but not bad at all, sound is true to many of the samples I listened to before purchasing.

Great, Verstaiule Rode Mic Pro +

The majority of my photo equipment is purchased at Adorama after I do much research. The Rode Mic Pro is perfect for my home studio and occasional location videos. I use it with my Nikon D5500 and D610 camera setups.

This thing captures sound real good.

The Videomic Pro Plus is a good mic for the price. The auto on/off and split level recording are invaluable. One important note: if you buy any of the package deals here on Adorama, the deadcat that comes with it is not the correct one. They are including the deadcat made for the Rode Videomic Pro, not the Pro PLUS. It doesn't really fit the Plus. You can force it on, but it's not the same as the one that is made for the Plus, which works much better.
