Another great product from Sony! 
I’ve been using a set of the wireless mics for a while now and I finally had a problem with my receiver and a PLL Error and I didn’t have time to send mine in for repair so I purchased another set only a couple days before my next gig and Adorama came through for me again! The microphones arrived in time for me to set them up and double check them before I left for my shoot!

2 things I can always rely on, Sony and Adorama!

The Sony UTX-B03 Integrated Digital Wireless Bodypack Transmitter is a nice and discreet way to record audio for weddings, ENG, news broadcast, and event coverage. The bodypack can be worn on a belt buckle (with the included clip) or in a soft-pouch (not included), or even just placed inside a pocket.

This particular unit uses UHF TV channels 14-25 in the 470 - 542mhz frequency band range for interference free capture/recording of audio via the included lavalier mic. The included Sony lavalier mic is discreet and small enough to be worn on shirt collars or on a tie with the included mic clip. It also comes with a small foam windshield.

The audio trasmitted via this bodypack/mic combo is clear and crisp and with the multitude of available frequencies you can select will almost guarantee you'll find a channel free and clear of any interruptions or drop-outs. You can also save up to 10 of your favorite frequencies for quick selection in the case your current channel is receiving any interference.

The bodypack comes with a comprehensive LED backlighted LCD display for easy readability indoors or out and quick selection and scroll through of the options menu. It is also compatible with any 3.5mm (1/8') recording microphone. The bodypack takes two AA alkaline batteries for about 6 hours of continuous use. Two AA lithium batteries can be used for up to 15 hours of continuous use. Additionally, you may also use rechargeable NiMH AA batteries and also charge them directly via this device's built-in micro-USB connector. You can choose between which battery type you are using via the MENU button; thus enabling the UTX-B03 to recognize what type of battery you are using: Alkaline, Lithium, or rechargeable NiMH.

The transmitter transmits at either 5mW output power for close-range indoor multi-channel use or 30mW high output power for outdoor and more long-range usage. All this is housed in a study and attractive all-metal casing which makes it very durable and ideal for use in rougher climate and tough environments.

Overall, I love the ease of use and wonderful sound quality offered by this unit and I give it a high recommendation.
