There's really nothing to complain about with this lens. Really. If you're a canon shooter this lens should be one of the most important lenses, due to it's versatility. The auto focus is a bit faster and accurate than it's predecessor, the version one. And there are sharper lenses. I've shot professionally for about 15 years now, when it comes to sharpness and how much there are a ton and a half of situational factors to figure before you shoot the subject. This lens has been plenty sharp for whatever subject I've pointed at! IF of course I set the focusing and DOF up properly pre shot. 
I love this lens! Definately my workhorse lens.

Great every day lens, I use it for almost anything. I can always count on getting most shots with this lens when I?m out and about. I?ve had it a couple weeks now and I fell in love instantly. The clarity is amazing and I?m getting some of the best photos I?ve ever gotten! Wonderful lens, not super open with an f4 but it does it?s job well every single time.

Excellent all purpose lens

I use this lens for street photography because of the focal range. I own 10 other Canon L lenses. This one is not the sharpest that I own. That's my only complaint. I wish the lens was a little sharper. I thought maybe the lens shipped a little out of calibration. Nope, I tested it with a DataColor SptderCal. AF is fast and reliable. For an L lens, the weight is lighter than expected, which is nice.

A very versatile, lightweight lens with a wide range of shooting capability. The 24mm lock is a great feature. This lens replaces my 28-300mm zoom lens (on heavy side), as my everyday lens.

My only criticism is that it’s heavy!  Paired with the 5D Mark IV it’s a lot to lug around.

This is a great walk around lense. Fantastic for portraits too! Razor sharp with smooth bokeh wide open. Fast focus, all but instant lock on. You won't regret buying this lense.

Awesome lens!!!

This is second 24-105 I have purchased. First one is 5 years old, covered many, many miles. Fell from back pack on concrete, rolled down a hill, dropped on steel deck of whale tour boat, (twice) never let me down! Reason for replacing, getting "loose in the joints!" It's my-go to lens, don't want it to fail since I depend on it so much. Great lens, I sure got my money worth!! Wish they made it in 2.4

Excellent image quality.  More range than my 17-40. Put on a filter from day one to protect the element.

Best addition to my bag.

Great lens.  Not as good as my primes or 70-200 2.8 and 100-400, but, decent.  Some pictures are great, others not so much.  Could be operator error, but, my other lens produce consistent excellent results.  Switched from the 24-70 L4 for the additional reach.  This lens has fewer sharp keepers than my others, but, it is a good outside good light lens.

Nice lens. We have a copy for our EOS 6D and wanted another for  the 5DIII.

EF 24-105 F4L IS II USM lens

Amazing

I just purchased this 24-105mm lens from Canon.  I took it Burma (now called Myanmar) and got great images, both portraits and landscapes.  I like the wide angle and medium range that this zoom offers.  This was the new version of this lens and is well worth purchasing.  Another thing that I like is the small size and weight.

Good for a basic zoom lens. Really worth for the money. I was searching for long time to get one basic zoom lens for a general photography as I am just starting to learn photography. So got this lens based on the reviews and this is really good.

This is the lens you can leave on the camera most of the time, and will cover many situations.  Image quality is excellent.

Terrific all around lens.

This lens came with my Canon 6D ll, I was very happy with the sharpness and clarity of this Lens. I didn't write a review till now beause I wanted to use it for a year or so first. Canon did an great job on both camera an lens. I've use the lens under all conditions, even low light. This is now my go to lens. Great job Canon!!
