Shows very minimal wear! Focuses smoothly as designed. Aperture ring functions properly. Barrel is scratch free except for 1 or 2 very minor nicks on the gnurled aperture ring. Glass is scratch free but does have light haze.This is LEICA's most practical ultrawide lens. It is intended for LEICA's full-frame M rangefinder cameras like today's LEICA M7 but is also a great choice to adapt to a mirrorless system.  Rangefinder-coupled focus and metering work fine on any M camera made since 1954, although you do need to use your choice of external viewfinder for composition and framing.  This compact ultra-wide-angle lens delivers outstanding detail and superb contrast even at full aperture. And the highest level of image quality is maintained even in the close-up range. Distortion is minimal, and negligible in photographic practice. With its ultra-wide imaging angle of 92°, it is ideally suited to landscape photography featuring dramatic effects. The foreground appears monumental, while the rapidly diminishing background creates a wide horizon. This focal length is also ideal for photojournalists who have to shoot right in the midst of the action. Since it delivers extremely sharp images and good depth of field at the widest aperture settings, very good picture results can be achieved in grueling photojournalism assignments even without precise focusing.
